"Follow me!" She meowed and ran through the forest, checking over her shoulder to make sure the queen was following. She scented the air as she waited for Nightshade to catch up. Badger? No, it must be from when they invaded. She thought.

[~Storm*Night~]

Nightshade bounded forward, keeping pace easily. A fresh scent drifted towards her on the breeze. Badger? Her hackles started to rise but the scent was weird. It seemed different somehow. Not stale but harder to detect.

Violetpaw thought "Just got to figure out how to make a noise come out.." "that was very good, your mouth moved perfectly" she purred

Silentpaw gave a huff. This was harder than she thought

[Wanderer.]

"Here we are! Not many cats have hunted here since the badger attack, so I figured we'd find out if it's good for prey." Brightstar explained. She sniffed the air. Squirrel! She crouched and pinpoined the scent. Underground thats odd... The leader shook off her worries. She creeped towards the scent, pawstep by pawstep before remembering her guest. "Would you like the honours?" She mewed quietly, trying to give the she-cat a chance to prove herself.

"Well..." Wolf said awkwardly. "I'm not sure if I belong anywhere right now. I'm not used to living with somany cats. As for this warrior code-" He sighed. "I like it here, but I think it might be best for the Clan if I left now my wounds are better. I'm just one more mouth to feed since Silversong won't let me hunt yet." He admitted. Why am I opening up so easily to her?

Violetpaw purred "take you time, I know you can do it...just focus"

" Well I'm sure when you'r better you'll be aloud to hunt, and there is plenty of prey in the forest, it's not too hard to catch something, I'm sure LeafClan is honored to have you, if they thought otherwise I am sure they would have said something by now, and it's hard for me too to be around so many cats but when I think about leaving I don't feel right, I mean I am used to being alone too but now that I have the option to or not, it just doesn't feel right to me anymore, being alone that is."

"I know, I've thought through this too, my heart says stay, but my head says go." He sighed. "And I'm not sure which one I should listen too this time."

Nightshade blinked warmly and crouched down, slowly creeping forward. She kept quick until it was way too late for it. She leaped and pounced easily onto the squirrel. Before it even could react she killed it with a quick bite to the neck. She gently turn grass and dirt on the squirrel so that they could collect it later. She turned to Brightstar, her eyes shining with pride

Silentkit shook her head, meowing again.

Ashkit looked around, trying to spot the tom-cat he had talked to earlier. "Tanglepaw?" He called

Brightstar nodded and her eyes warmed. She opened her mouth to speak, but then a look of horror crept into her eyes. She screamed. A moment of terror froze her. When her body could move again, her actions were strong and sure. She ran into Nightshade headfirst, trying to knock her out of the way. "Run! Get help!" Was what came out of her mouth before she turned to face the badger that had threatened the queen.
