Summer stared at her reflection rippling across the pond. She heard thumping of some sort. Another dog must be on the other side of the pond. Summer noticed Bane nod to her. She blinked with dignity towards him. However the thumping noise was still going on. It wasn't Bane. Summer peeked through the reeds to see Steel.

he continued to thump his tail. he flicked his ears listening. He felt watched, he opened his eye and looked around. Not seeing anything, he stood and shook his pelt, stretching. he sat on his haunches and looked across the pond, seeing a Pittbull (Bruce), and a German sheperd (Alushia). he rolled his eyes and looked back into the water.

~Summer~

Summer raised her eyebrows and watched Steel. Guiltily, the husky felt like she was prying. Lowering her dark eyes, Summer breathed softly and heard Steel thumping. Why was he doing that peculiar thing? "Steel?" Summer quietly whispered. Gazing, upon the sleeping Bruce, Summer didn't feel up to a fight today. She didn't want to risk waking him up.

He flicked his ears in the voice's direction "yes?" he said. He looked to the direction it came. The reeds. He sat back up onto his haunches, still not knowing who it was. His tail still thumping.

Summer blinked slowly. Steel seemed a bit clueless. She turned her head, and shook her fur. Summer opened her mouth to say something but nothing came to mind. What was there to say?

He stood and walked around the reeds. He found Summer watching him through them. The tiny sliver that liked her was growing. He sat on his haunches infront of her, waiting for her to reply.

Zespri lowly growled as the humans ubruptly dropped her crate on the ground. She scratched at its wire mesh and metal floor. She watched a hand unlatch the door, and as soon as it was unlocked and opened she sprang out into the dirt and grass, relieved to feel nature under her paws again. She growled once more, then shook her pelt and bounded farther away from the humans. Glancing around at her new surroundings, she spotted some other dogs by a pond. She looked the other direction, and saw some hunting in a field. Slowly padding through the grass, she made her away around the territory.

Summer stared at him with her blue eyes. Her mind thought frantically for something to say. Why am I so worked up over this? She bit her lip, frustratedly. The husky blinked slowly. "Have you ever eaten the koi from here?" She asked, trying not to sound so nervous. Turning her attention for several moments, Summer noticed a new dog being dropped off. Summer felt a shred of pity and guilt for the new dog. How confused and lost she must feel. Summer then, turned towards Steel again, however she gazed upon Bane. Bane's scent smelled like doubt. "Is he doubting the new dog? Steel...or me?" Summer thought.
