The feeling of cold sunk into his paws as the water of a stream pooled into his fur; though he did not let the feeling alter his perception of the fish he so curiously watched. With his ears perched directly forward upon his head, he lowered his nose to the water he sniffed at the ripples he had caused, disrupting the grace of the waters surface.
Pacific blue eyes searched for fish that would swim around his feet, quickly trusting the large male, his tongue slipped past the protection of his lips and lapped at the water slowly. He felt the water draw into him and cascade down his throat, the cool feeling refreshing him in the evenings moments. He had been running most of the day, his destination; unknown.
Bright peacock blue ears flicker as a sound brush past the bushes near him and voices disappear into what seems to be some sort of a crevice. His head lurches up with a great speed and grace as he looks towards the direction, water dripping from his maw before his tongue caught them and cleaned his lips. He watched the bushes with intensity, tail held high in anticipation.

Tala smiled at Blood encouragingly before giving the white wolf in front of her a look that said, If it was up to me, I'd let you join. Tala rested her head on Blood's back and fell asleep.

Green Field Moon 2nd Gen from the April 2011 Field Moon 2nd Gen litter!

Japanese pottery technique where items are repaired by glueing the pieces back
together with a (typically) gold lacquer. It's called "kintsugi" and the idea behind
this is that broken things can still be beautiful, a mantra that has helped me cope
with the latest years of my depression. I've been saving up for a tattoo, to be my
first one, which will also be fashioned after kintsugi. That's why this design holds
a lot of sentimental value for me and, consequently, why I'm setting up a hoard
for them: to remind myself that even though I'm still struggling now, I will get
