Marblepaw shook his head "No, Featherpaw is his mate after I turned her down and Pepperpaw turned him down" Marblepaw meowed twitching his whiskers and nibbling the sparrow. What if Honeyleaf didn't agree with Spiderpaw's choice of mate? That would get interesting.

Sparrowstar looked at Pepperpaw. "Well, yeah I suppose, if one of them comes with you. It would be great if you could get quite alot of prey for the clan!" She meowed.

Pepperpaw manged a quiet purr of thanks, 'Thank you Sparrowstar.' She dipped her head greatfully and bounced away. 'Nightshade!' She called loudly.
Nightshade looked up from the mouse carcass. 'Yes?' He yawned.
'Take me hunting?' Pepperpaw pleaded, her eyes filled with hope.
'Okay then,' Nightshade glanced at the freshkill pile. 'Shall we bring Whiteleaf with us? Or Marblepaw?' He flicked his ears at his sisters face when he mentioned Marblepaw. 'The pile is running low and-'
'Whatever.' Pepperpaw mumbled, stalking away towards the enterance. 'I'll meet you out there.' She sighed, wishing it could have only been her and Nightshade.
Nightshade snorted and glanced around, 'Does anyone want to go hunting?' He meowed loudly, wondering if anyone did want to go.

Honeyleaf let out a silent hiss, Spoderpaw couldn't have a mate! '' Oh no he will not have a mate!'' She said and ran off looking for Spiderpaw.

Marblepaw's ears flicked up as Nighshade mentioned hunting. "I would, if we don't go for fish..." He meowed remembering the river accident.

'You can go for whatever you like.' Nightshade replied with a flick of his long tail, he smiled at Marblepaw and flicked his ears. 'I assume Honeyleaf has taught you how to hunt?' He asked, walking towards the enterence.
Pepperpaw sat in the shade of a tree, a single beam of sunlight filtered through the trees and hit the spot infront of her and she leaned against the tree, almost as if she was scared to step into the light.

Marblepaw nodded "Yeah both she and Whiteleaf did. He is like a brother to me!" He meowed purring slightly. It was strange. Marblepaw had never purred fully in his life before, only partically which meant that he had never noticed how deep his purr actually was.

Nighthshade nodded, smiling. 'Good.' He stopped by Pepperpaw who was leaning against the tree, staring blankly at the beam of light onfront of her.
Pepperpaw stared blankly at the sunbeam, it was just like the one from her dream. She was numb to her surroundings an didn't notice Nightshade and Marblepaw aproaching.

Marblepaw purred slightly and stepped forwards, into the light. Not really realising what he was doing and well he just wanted to get going. "Hello Pepperpaw" He meowed smiling slightly and twitching his whiskers at the she cat. The warmth was lighting up his fur and soaking through to his skin.

'M-Marblepaw?' Pepperpaw asked, her ears pricking upwards. Her heart ached slightly and she glanced away, she had never seen Marblepaw in this way before and she was wondering why she wa seeing him like this now. 'I-I supose we should get hunting.' She mumbled, standing and walking to the other side of Nightshade.
Nightshade frowned slightly, what on earth was wrong with his sister? 'Sure...' Nightshade began walking deeper into the woods, Pepperpaw close behind.

(Shall I just pretend that Sparrowstar has taught her how to hunt? ^^)
