Featherpaw woke up, her paw was hurting more than ever and she felt heartbroken because Marblepaw turned her down, but she went across to him anyway, but he was resting his head on Pepperpaw, then she realised, it wasn't that Marblepaw didn't want to be a mate, it's just he didn't want to be a mate with her! She started crying and ran out of camp, as far as she could, then she got to Two Leg place and saw Spiderpaw, she knew he loved her, and he was upset that Pepperpaw didn't love him, so she went over to him, there was a kittypet near by, "Leave my friend alone!" She hissed at it.

Spiderpaw remembered what happened when he Marblepaw were upset, Pepperpaw gone to Marblepaw not him.She loved Marblepaw not him.
Spiderpaw looked into featherpaw's eyes,tthey were like stars, and she was beautiful.He never thought something like that about pepperpaw before, he had to addmit thathe only wanted to be mmates with her because he didn't want Marblepaw to be her one, but now he understood, Featherpaw was the one.
He smiled and licked featherpaw's cheek.

Marblepaw opened his eyes. Featherpaw and Spiderpaw had left. "They'll be back" he whispered to Joseph flicking his ear and re closing his eyes.
