The day of the dawning (Warriors role-play NOT ACCEPTING)

After a few minutes of searching Marblepaw found Featherpaw and padded up to her. "Look, I'm really sorry but I'm not ready for a mate or anything yet. MAYBE in the future..." he meowed licking her shoulder.

"We don't have to be mates now, we can be just a bit more than friends." Featherpaw got up but yowled, forgetting about her paw.

Marblepaw smiled slightly. He took one questioning look at her paw before leaving the apprentices den to walk back up to Pepperpaw. "I think we should leave soon...maybe when the others are back" he meowed

Scarpaw laughed. "Well, I don't expect to be attack in full daylight in our own camp!" she teased and groomed her fur. It was slightly dusty, but it was soon groomed off. Her eyes met his for a little while, and she felt a bit embarrased for some reason. She sighed. "Anything happened lately? Haven't really got to train the past days either, and I missed a few patrols... I have felt a bit bad the last few days." she said, coughing a bit. She smiled kindly. "Thanks though, I need some cheering up these days." she purred and smiled.

Pepperpaw scuffed the dirt with her paw. 'W-Well Spiderpaw... You see.' She tilted her head to the sky as if she was asking StarClan for a way to word what she was thinking. 'I like you Spiderpaw, but not in that way.' She meowed quietly. 'I don't think it would be fair to have a relationship with someone when I don't feel the same way.' She stepped closer to Spiderpaw. 'But you will always be my friend Spiderpaw.' She licked his ear gentally. 'I hope that you'll still be friends with me.'

Nightshade grinned, his deep blue eyes narrowed happily. 'Not really, I havn't been able to train Orchidpaw on her own yet.' He frowned slightly. This was his first time as a mentor and he had allways been training his aprentice with someone else and he felt slightly restricted. He didn't mind making a fool of himself if he was on his own, but when he was around others he felt like he had to be serious like a warrior. 'Why arn't you with the other apprentices?' He asked, curling his long tail around his paws, he had noticed that Scarpaw didn't hang around with the other aprentices. If something had happened between them he wanted to sort it out.

Marblepaw let out a silent sigh of relief. He kept quiet though and just watched the two, ready to break up any conflict.

''Oh okay,'' Spiderpaw said, ''I understand,I'm goiyng then,bye.'' He said quietly and padded off wiwth his tail low.

Pepperpaw sighed glancing at her paws. She felt really bad, but she didn't think it was fair to lead someone on. She flicked her ears sadly and hoped that Spiderpaw would still talk to her and act like nothing had happened. She stared at the ground for a while whilst guilt flooded over her.

Marblepaw looked at Pepperpaw. She seemed sad, almost guilty. "He won't hate you..." he meowed licking her cheek.

Pepperpaw nodded slowly and absent mindedly. She flicked her ears backwards and lay slowly onto the floor, numb to her surroundings. What if he never spoke to her again?

Marblepaw looked at Pepperpaw and sighed. "Would you like me to go and talk to him?" He asked bending down to look into Pepperpaw's eyes just incase she tried to lie to him.
