Sunstream Wolf Pack (RP--Accepting!)

Leela skidded to a halt in front of a massive brown male wolf. She lifted her tail and snarled a warning.

The brown wolf seemed to chuckle. "You sure are a pretty thing." He bared his teeth. "You and I would make beautiful pups."

[Dipstick]

Burnou snarled at his comment and his hackles raised. The fur stood up along his spine as he unsheathed his claws. He tensed his muscles and prepaired to jump at the cocky loner if he threatened to even move towards Leela.

Leela snarled. "Leave this place, Loner. You don't belong here."

The loner smirked and started forward. "Your puny little protector doesn't stand a chance against me."

[Dipstick]

"BACK OFF!!!" Burnou snarled and ran at the loner ramming him hard. He swiped his paw at the loner's face aiming for his eyes. If he couldn't see he couldn't fight.

The loner snarled and swiped at Burnou's shoulder, getting a blow in. Eventually, he turned tail and ran away, yelping like a pup.

Leela walked over to Burnou and licked his wounds before nuzzling against his. "Thank you."

Burnou licked her cheek and smiled. "I would give my life for my alpha." He was all he said in reply. He shook off his pelt. "Come on, let's get back before the rest of the pack starts worrying about us." He nudged her then started off back towards the clearing.

Leela followed, her tail streaming behind her. "A loner looking for a mate. You've Burnou to thank for my safety." She told the pack.

Mohan threw his head back and howled in thanks to Burnou.

Burnou shrugged and wagged his tail. "Ah it was nothing." He sat down and licked his wounds clean. "And I only have a few scars to show of it." He said in between licks.

Nikuta tilted back her head and joined in Mohan's howl.

Leela sat down beside Burnou and looked up at the gathering stars. "Tomorrow is the first day of breeding season. New pups will be born and older generations will move on."

Mohan glanced at Nikuta before glancing away quickly.

Burnou nodded and looked up. "Yeah..." He wrapped his tail around his paws and gazed at the darkening sky.

Nikuta smiled when she caught Mohan's gaze and walked over to him and silently sat down next to him. "Breeding season huh? Sounds interesting." She said casually like it was no big deal.
