Rua yawned, he was getting tired. But he wasn't sure if Cape would like for him to sleep in the den too.

[-Audio.Hound-]

Cape woke when she heard a hiss. She looked up into the eyes of a snake. It must have slithered in while everyone was greeting Tavi.

[bluejeans]

Rua padded towards the den. He needed to sleep, but he'd try not to annoy Cape anymore. At first when he entered he thought the den almost empty, then he noticed another moving thing. But it was not a fox; it was a long shape. "Snake!" He whispered weakly.

[-Audio.Hound-]

Cape growled at the snake, making it hiss back. It striked, but she hit it's head with her paw.

[bluejeans]

Rua moved closer to the snake, hissing and spitting at it. He tried to strike it with his paw.

[-Audio.Hound-]

The snake ducked and was about to bite Rua, when Tavi leaped on it and killed it. He had been sneaking up behind Rua and Cape, hearing the hissing.

[bluejeans]

Rua closed his eyes, not expecting to ever open them again. He slowly opened them to see Tavi and the dead snake "T-thanks" he stammered.

[-Audio.Hound-]

Tavi dropped the dead snake and nodded at Rua. "Cape, you should be more careful with snakes."

"Yeah, thanks," Cape said staring at the snake.

Rua glanced up at Cape, then at Tavi. He wished he had been the one to kill the snake, then Cape might have forgiving him.
