"Was that your babby?" she asked, her eyes kind. Turnning back to Lakey, she remounted and nudged the red roan into a collected canter, hopping Annie would follow.


Lakey snorted and turned to face Annie. "Was that your foal?" she asked gently.

Luna saw Annie and Callie follow Daisey so she followed Emily when she urged Ghost back towards the ranch.

Seeing the foal had returned to her mothers side, Daisy slowed Lakey down to a trot so the little foal could keep up. Reaching the ranch, Daisy sighed and dismounted from Lakey and open the gate and led the horses through it. Keeping it open for Emily, she looked back and hopped the horses were following.
