Maplekit stood next to her brother, brushing her gold-red pelt up to his light one, her tail flicking nervously. Why did Leopardkit always try to be the best!? Look where it landed her!? She thought, worried for the she cat.

Leopardkit silently did so. When she straightened back up and dipped her head to Skywatcher, she continued to mutter insults about herself...to herself. "You mouse brained loser, you don't deserve to stand in front of Skywatcher. You being chose for the prophecy was Starclan's only mistake..." She turned to the kits above. "Fine!" She called, then went back to muttering insults.

Skywatcher flicked her tail gently over the she-cat's shoulder, showing no emotion, except a dash of softness. "Stop cursing yourself. You made a mistake, and have to deal with it. Lingering in the past will do you no wealth, just harm," she explained firmly, her eyes glittering.

Leopardkit's pelt tingled where the she-cat touched her. "I failed, I deserve what I get." She murmured. She looked up at the she-cat's face and a shiver went through her. She practically oozed power and strength, and being in her presence made her want to sink into the ground and cease to exist.

Cherryblossom kicked a stone into the river, before plummeting down on her stomach. A sharp pain in her stomach made her gasp in pain. "Ow.." she cried, her face screwed up an awkward frown. "I hate my life, I'd rather be dead in the Blackforest then alive!" She raked her claws down her face, making her blood pour down it.

Reedwhisper heard a cry from near camp, and a ka-plop of what must be a stone falling in the river. He frowned, slowly padding out of camp, the river being right outside. "Cherryblossom...?" he mewed gently, frowning as he saw her crying.

Skywatcher gave a huff of contempt. "If you really want to improve, you would try to, and rethink what you should do next time, not dwell on your mistakes. I did the exact same thing when Panthera taught me," she mewed, her gaze flickering with a quick hint of understanding.

Leopardkit looked up, her eyes widening in surprise. "You...you made mistakes?" She asked in awe. Since Starclan had chosen her to train them, she had thought of the she-cat as a bit of a god. Immortal. All knowing.

I, was trained by another like us, but they use their power to kill. You see, I must help you all, because one day, you will have to fight them. Not now, not tomorrow, not in a few sunrises, but soon," she mewed slowly, her gaze flickering. She glanced up at the top of the ravine. "We have to return to your siblings," she instructed, padding over to the gentle slope that was able to be climbed.

Maplekit sighed and sat down, not seeing any use in worrying and craning her neck over some cave if she couldnt even see anything. She wondered if they would ever find Skywatcher...it didnt seem likely. As this thought passed through her head she knew that if it did take them many sunrises or even a moon to find her, they would need to hunt. How do you hunt? She growled softly to herself. She wished so hard she knew this type of stuff. How else would they all survive!?
