Shadowscar smiled faintly as the Tom spoke. "Thank you, Ashice. You have been a great help. I bet you'll be an excellent Leader one day," she purred, and just barely mouthed the words 'father', nearly hurting herself for it.

Owlpaw shrugged and glanced over at Zephyrpaw. "Not much, really. Just trying to bother some cats for entertainment," he laughed, and sat down next to Soulpaw. "How about you? I haven't spoke to you for a while."

Rosethorn nodded in agreement with Duskblaze. "I think we should. They could have been attacked by Sinclan, any cats roaming about, or-" he cut off, not wanting to talk about his sister. "Anyways, I think it should be only us going. Too many cats in one group would be an alarming sight."

Zephyrpaw examined her paw. There was a thorn jutting out of it. A good sized one, too. Careful not to let her paw touch the ground, she stood very slowly and headed for the medicine den.

Ashice smiled, "Thanks. But I'm in no hurry to be a leader; Wolfstar is doing a great job of running our clan." he pointed out and sniffed the air again. He stopped by a large, moss-covered rock and tapped Shadowscar with his tail, "Over here." he meowed and padded over to the large rock and with all his strength, he pushed it aside and revealed an opening to a warm den, "In here." he mewed and waited so Shadowscar could enter first.

Soulpaw sighed, "I know...guess we've both been busy. And to be honest, nothing really. Just the usual training and hunting practices as usual." she mewed and lightly tapped her tail against the ground.

Duskblaze nodded in agreement, her tail flickering once. "'Kay." Was all she said before beginning to pad into the forest. She turned back to Rosethorn before going any further. She didn't even know where she was going. Man. Maybe she should've slept a little longer. Perhaps she wouldn't be stupider than a mousebrain if she was more than half awake."Where should we go?"

Shadowscar dipped her head in respect to the Deputy, Ashice, as she crawled her way into the den. The den was surprisingly much more warm than the outside world, and she found a moss bedding near the corner. Being swift, she made her way over to it, and curled up, eyyes fixed on the entrance.

Rosethorn kept a steady pace with the She-cat, ears perked. "A good place to start would be near Sinclan territory. If she isn't there, though," he paused and sighed. "We may as well be without a Medicine Cat. She doesn't go anywhere else."

Ashice followed her into the den and with his jaws, pulled the lichen drape over the mouth of the cave as he padded over to another pile of moss by Shadowscar and curled up. He rested his head on his paws and tapped his tail lightly against the warm ground and sighed with content.

Duskblaze nodded once more, her tailnswishing back and forth at her heels. She felt as f she was always allowingnher tail to flick back and forth, but that was just something she did. Not like she was the only one in the clan who did it, though. Duskblaze felt as if she was growing more tired with each and every step. She couldn't figure out why she was tired, though, and didn't give it much thought. The she-cat quickened her pace slightly. Perhaps if she could went faster, it would wake her up a bit.

Amberpaw was on full-awake mode now. She rushed over two Zepyrpaw, forgetting for a moment that she wasn't the medicine cat, "Lemme' see it!" she murmured worriedly. She examined the paw and took the thorn between her teeth, pulling it out quickly, so as not to make it painful. It took a few moments, but she got it. Then she hurried into the medicine den and grabbed some comfrey, chewing it to a pulp, and applying the poultice to Zephypaw's paw. Then she wrapped some cobwebs carefully around it so the poultice wouldn't rub off, "That should soothe the wound. And because that was a large thorn, I'll give you some poppy seeds to help you rest today. No training! That thorn wasn't regular sized! It will only take a few hours of rest to heal enough to walk fully on." she suddenly remembered her status, "Sorry." she muttered, giving Zephyrpaw the poppy seeds before trotting slowly and sullenly away. Shadowscar would never make her the medicine cat apprentice! She needed to stop thinking that she already had. Amberpaw sighed and sat by the highrock. She was already a warrior apprentice, that most likely wouldn't change. She let out another sigh.
