Soulpaw looked up at Duskblaze and nodded, "Very well." she purred, "What about you?" she asked the older she-cat and flickered her tail lightly before curling it around her delicate paws.

Duskblaze nodded silently, her ears flickering once more. She offered a small, crooked smile to Cloverpelt, but had a feeling that her fellow warrior would already be on her way before she saw it."Good, I suppose. Better than usual." Duskblaze had had a good sleep; one with no dreams. Which just happened to be the best kind, in her opinion, that was.

Amberpaw trotted up behind Soulpaw, "Good morning!" she said cheerfully to everyone nearby. She sat next to her friend and began carefully grooming her fur. She looked around for Spiderfang, but did not see him. 'He's probably out hunting, or still asleep.' she thought. She continued grooming her fur until the white, brown, orange, and black shone. She closed her eyes halfway in a relaxed way, waiting for her mentor to appear. In the meantime, she listened to the conversations going on around her.

Soulpaw turned her head and smiled at Amberpaw, "Morning, Amberpaw." she purred and looked back at Duskblaze, "Well at least your sleep was good." she mewed and stood up to stretch her flank, "I think our mentors are still asleep, Amberpaw. I guess we should just wait for them to get up; it is rather early you know." she meowed and yawned once again.

Cloverpelt turned her head just as she noticed DuskBlaze's expression changing. She looked back too late and stumbled scuffing her paw against the ground. She shook her pelt and continued on casting one last grin at Duskblaze and bounded to the edge of camp leaping over the protective stream and skidding under the brambles, she spent her energy leaping through the woods over and under logs, on and off branches and dashing around huge ferns on her way to the border. She slowed down slightly, but continued making her way around the borders.

Amberpaw nodded, "Yes, your right. I was just thinking that." she said. Then she yawned too, "I wonder what we'll learn today?" she mewed, "Probably hunting. Spiderfang and I haven't done that in a while. Though he says I'm already a pro at it." she bragged slightly, squinting her eyes in a playful teasing was at Soulpaw. She laughed in a rumbling purr, "Well," she continued, "I have no problem with waiting. You're right anyway, it is quite early." she yawned again as if to prove it.

Soulpaw narrowed her eyes playfully at at Amberpaw, "Enough bragging, for now, let's just rest under the warming light while we wait for Rosethorn and Spiderfang." she meowed and laid on her belly. The damp grass was cool on her pelt, but the warming sun slowly heated up her cooling pelt; making her body at an even temperature that was comforting to the little she-cat.

{Little dramatic moment with Shadowscar; another cat may need to join.}

Shadowscar had come upon her old burrow; the one she had lived in when she was a Loner with her parents. She lifted her nose into the air to the stale scent of blood coming from the den, and tears began to fill her beautiful eyes. She slowly climbed her way inside, trembling with each step, only to come upon the dead bodies of her parents, Vienna and Goren. She collapsed near the matted bodies, the tears now spilling out of her eyes with each breath she inhaled, taking in the scene. "Why, Starclan?" she yowled out, and threw her face into her unsheathed paws.

{Ashice will }

Ashice perked his ears as he padded through the forest when he heard the painful yowls from a she-cat that echoed in a nearby den. Swiftly, he bounded towards the cries and soon realized it was Shadowscar that he heard. He quickened hsi strides and when he came upon the den, he scented the strong smell of blood and called into the den, "Hello?"

Shadowscar slowly shifted her weight and picked up her heavy head, face stained and matted from her crying. "Ash... Ashice... They..." she began, but started to tremble again and allowed her head to fall back onto her paws. "They're dead..."
