Wolfstar : He shook his head softly. "I cannot leave camp un-attended." He spoke, "I will have to announce a new deputy by moonhigh. You may lead this patrol."

Hollyrain paused, considering it. Her gaze met his briefly and she stifled a sigh. "Sure, Wolfstar." She murmured, smiling radiantly. "Whatever you want." Her voice was soft, somewhat disappointed. I wonder who the deputy will be. She pressed her chest against the ground in a stretch and glanced at Rosefeather. "Whenever you're ready."

Riverwing smiled proudly, and she buried the rodent quickly, and trotted off to find more. When she came back to her first kill, she had tw o more mice in her mouth. She had missed multiple times, but she was proud anyways. She got all three, and made her way back to camp.

Rosefeather's face fell slightly, but she nodded and bounded out of camp. She ran swiftly until she reached the first border marker, she quickly re marked it.

Stormheart padded over to Wolfstar, "Hey, how are you doing?" He asked his leader.

[wolfie!]

Wolfstar : He watched the two she-cats pad out of camp, nodding at Riverwing to follow them. Then he focused on the tom in front of him. "Good, Stormheart." he said, shaking out his fur, then licking it down again.

Riverwing blinked, but nodded. She put her three kills into the fresh kill pile, then raced after the two other she-cats.

"That's good," Stormheart sighed, their clan was small now but still tough. "Do you want me to watch the camp for a little while? It seems like you could use a short break." He said, "Sparrowpaw and I can handle it, plus we have a mighty medicine cat" Stormheart chuckled and licked the fur on his chest as the wind blew it out of place.

Riverwing flicke her ears, and followed the two silently. She then chased a rabbit, and caught it minutes later. She took a rest, the rabbit by her side.

[wolfie!]

Wolfstar : He grinned at Stormheart, then at Birdsong, whom was standing at the entrance of the medicine den, then nodded. "I'm sure you can cope." He waved his tail, then leapt onto the highrock, and into the trees above it.
