Anything else was forced back down in the wake of that stupid houndoom's comment, and it was visible as the frazzled and anxious mother melted away -- consciously leaving only the ace battling champion that she was as she stalked toward him this time. "I'll say this slowly, kid," she purred, voice sickeningly sweet and sounding almost venomous despite her type, "because clearly you're pretty slow on the uptake. I. Am not. In. The mood. For games." Not long ago she probably would have just attacked, she'd never really tolerated anything that could have been considered shallow flirting and this houndoom grated on her nerves. But Masumi was still nestled between her shoulder blades, burrowing ever deeper into her now much cooler mane, and it kept her at least partially grounded.

A visible puff of air hovered between them as she huffed, turning abruptly away once more as the absol's declaration. It was obvious to her, at least, that he wasn't intimidated any more than she was. Who could say if the houndoom could tell, she didn't have much.... confidence, in his ability to. "My business is none of your concern."

She didn't need to even look for long before found a track for the dump Houndoom which was actually her partner or was, without their owners they could no need to be together anymore, but still, they were. She walked above the bushes before stopped to see three pokemon taking there, Nobu was one of them and the situation didn't look friendly, which didn't really surprise her at all.

He looked over to the Absol "How boring" he murmured rather bored then looked at Ninetales, feeling a little disappointed how harshly she spoke to him. She didn't speak that way to the Absol, maybe he was just too handsome to speak rightfully "Oh I see, Of course...whatever" he said biting his teeth together as he looked elsewhere. He then lifted his head and started to move away "Well if I disturbed your honeymoon, then you would have just said ... I would have understood" he said with a flick of his black tail.

They woke up at the crashes nearby, standing to look which made them be sure it was not any humans, they didnät get along with most of them very well. They were meet trainers who were kind and didn't try to battle them to catch them, they could be never be caught by humans.
