Currentflight nudged Moonflight. "It's not your fault," She mewed, placing her tail lightly on her back.

Foxpelt climbed down and shook his bright orange pelt of snow. He walked over to the other cats. "Is everyone ok? Anyone hurt?" He meowed, looking around at the damage.

Currentflight nodded numbly. "Ermineheart died," She whispered.

Foxpelt nodded his head slowly. "I know. I saw." He closed his eyes tightly, as if it would all go away. "Anyone else hurt?" He asked.

"No, thank StarClan," murmured Moonflight quietly. "Well, let's get what we came for, and then bring Ermineheart back," she meowed, silently picking up a piece of ice.

Foxpelt told Moonflight, "Let me do it. You're tired, and I'm stronger at the moment." He looked at her, eyes sincere. He picked up Ermineheart's cold, wet body. "Lead the way, Moonflight." He said gently, tail touching her flank softly to let her know.

"Thank you," sighed Moonflight, her tail trailing in the snow. Every paw step seemed to take all her strength.
She really, really should've listened to that wolf. For Ermineheart she swore to StarClan that she'd listen to any warning given to her from now on.

Foxpelt flicked an ear in welcome. Slowly carrying Ermineheart's body, they arrived at camp where he set her in the clearing. Foxpelt touched his nose to her pelt. "Hold vigil while you can. Things could get harder." He meowed before he padded away off to hunt for some fresh-kill for the cold cats.

He came back with 2 rabbits, a shrew, and a very plump squirrel where he dropped in the kill pile. "Anyone can have it." He murmured before going to rest in the warriors den. He just wante to help

Silverstar froze when she heard something and pricked her ears, trying to figure out what it was.

Streampaw jumped up, hearing a load of wet and sick cats walk in. She bounded over and saw Ermineheart. She pushed her nose to her pelt, and immediately knew she was dead. Streampaw pulled back and looked at every other cat. "Who's hurt? Anyone need herbs? Come to the medicine den immediately!" She yowled out politely before dashing back to the medicine cat en.
