As soon as he appreared on her side of the bush she leap on him and the two bowled into the dust, like to playful apprentices. She licked his muzzled then leap off him and dashed off laughing.

Syrus found the idea of being able to find a mate in any pack very nice, he seemed to be unable to find one here in Moonchaser and he very much wanted to have a mate, sure he could wait, that wasn't a problem. He just had this strange feeling that he might miss his chance at love if he waited for too long.

Sakura's mind swirled with thoughts as she got closer back to camp; all centered around the black Moonchaser dog that she saw at the meeting. Maybe he could be my mate....no...he looked too close to his pack but perhaps I could live in his...no...I can't leave my home...we don't have a lot of us left.....and Nayr would probably hate me for leaving.
