Ravenpaw crouched keeping his tail parallel with the ground. his legs were the perfect distance he was able to stalk, sprint, and pounce from his position. he stalked forward making sure he didn't trip on anything

"hmmmmm ... good" said tigerlight " just lift your tail up a bit so its not dragging and tuck your back legs under you but be ready to pounce" then she luaghed "i'm sorry if i'm confusing you"

Geckofire stopped him with his tail and looked down "what were you going to step on?" he mewed looking down at a large pile of dired leaves

"No, I think I get it", she crouched down lower and picked up her tail, tucking her back legs in, "like this?", she practised stalking across the clearing. All of a sudden, there was a rustle in the underbrush. She stared intently at it, creeping forward, flicking her ear towards the sound to alert Tigerlight.

"Leaves but there is no way to avoid them. i saw that they were there and was going to adjust my weight." he mewed ooking at his mentor.

Geckofire smiled and nodded "very well, sniff and dont tell me when you find prey youll scare it away, you smell, hear or see it pounce right away" he mewed

Pouncing, she startled a sparrow that had landed and was trying to pull a worm from the earth. She merely scratched it's wing when it struggled out of her hands an tried to fly away. She leapt up to catch it. Now she was quite tired, though she was proud of her first catch. So, after getting Tigerlight's permission, she headed of to camp.
Once there, she dropped her sparrow on the fresh-kill pile, grabbed herself a small mouse, and went to her den after swallowing it in a few gulps. She was so tired! She had been up all night battle-training with Hawkspirit, and now she had caught her first prey! It was only luck; she knew that, but she was proud of herself anyways. Almost immediately, she fell asleep.

Ravenpaw nodded. closing his eyes he listenend for sounds of scittering. after hearing the sound of a chipmunk late getting into its nest. he scented tasting the musk scent of the small thing. he smiled and crept forward. making virtually no sound on the leaves. he pinpointed the sound and pounced. again not tto high but not tool low. he came down on the chipmunk as it was about to run. he bit its neck quickly draining its life from it.
