Bramblepaw began to clean the apprentice's den, since his siblings had forgotten. Working silently and diligently he listened for any signs of problems. There were none.

Breezepaw flew. His back paws pushed strongly off the ground, launching himself directly at Hawkspirit, something he knew his mentor would not be expecting. He barreled into his side, winding him and knocking him flat on his back. Quick as a lightning strike, Breezepaw was ontop of him, his claws unsheathed, placed carefully on Hawkspirit's throat. "Gotcha."

Hawkspirit rolled his eyes he lay limp until breezepaw relaxed. Then with a burst forward sent him flying. He sprinted to the grounded apprentice and pinned him. He knew the apprentice wasn't strong enough to push him off. Unsheathing his claws he stared at him. "you NEVER unsheath your claws in training" he growled.

Now it was Breezepaw's turn to roll his eyes. "I wasn't actually going to hurt you. It was to show you that if it had been a real battle, I would have won, I could have easily swipped a paw across your throat and killed you." The thought sent a tingling sensation down Breezepaw's spine. "Can you get off me now?" He asked calmly, almost exasperated.

Rosepaw stretched and yawned. She stepped quietly out of the den and into the moonlight. She noticed the fresh-kill pile, but wasn't hungry and sat down for a while in the clearing.

ooc: it is still kinda nighttime. the patrol is just getting back from the gathering. oh and it is winter. you may also want to know that Diamondstar was killed a little bit ago by an owl to save diamondpaw and her kin. (diamondpaw was anmed after her). she was a great cat and leader

Spiritstar led his clan back into camp. shaking his head he jumped up onto the Highrock.

Bellaclaw huffed a sigh. "it has been a long day." she mewed.

Diamondpaw was still shivering from her experience. she looked around hoping to find Owlscreech or at least Daisyshine.
