Earthstorm stood beside Orangewing. He wondered what would happen to Cloudsong's litter. Will DiamondStar adopt them or Orangewing? Orangewing is their kin, but Cloudsong asked DiamondStar to look after them... Earthstorm didn't know how he would feel if Orangewing adopted the kits. It meant that they deffinitly wouldn't be able to go back to The Marshlands, there would be too many kits, which would be disappointing to Magpiekit but he wanted to make sure Cloudsong's kits were safe.

Rushingkit looked up at Orangewing. "But...where were you?" she asked, her voice soft and sad. "And who is Coyotefang and Acrylic? I remember sometimes when mom, talked about him but hmmm. I never heard of him outside of that." she mewed. She looked over at Hollowkit and her older siblings. "But if they want to know more than so do I," she mewed.

Skyleaf padded up to Cloudsong's body and she nugded it sadly. "I suppose her sister would have wanted to be here," she mewed.

That caught Rushingkit's attention. "Her sister? Who was her sister?" She asked the older she-cat.
Skyleaf sighed sadly. "She was your other aunt, named Grace. She visited us once, but she...she was strange. At least that would be a nice way to put it." She mewed. Rushingkit frowned wondering who this she-cat was.

"A sister..." Leopardpaw pondered. She wished she knew where her own real mother was. She sighed, closing her eyes. It was hard losing two mothers. Much, much to hard. She held back burning tears, and raised her head to the sky. She opened her eyes, wishing she could see Cloudsong's eyes in the sky. Where is your star, Cloudsong? Are you really watching?

Shadowpaw cocked his head to the side "What do you mean; strange?"

Skyleaf sighed. "Grace was...sadly like Cloudsong had described when she first came into the clan. Her mind wasn't right anymore and any mention of the 'Land of Eve' would send her into a fevrish frenzy. She was skittish and fearful, but I'd never known that she had been hrut that way until I mentioned it. Her broke down and started shaking so badly I thought her fur would come off. They must have done some horrible things to her there."

Rushingkit sat in shocked horror. "Well no wonder she's strange! Heck I'd be the same way too!" Rushingkit mewed as repulsion crept into her fur. But she was glad for the distraction, Skyleaf had given her, even if it wasn't intentional. It kept her mind away from the fact that her mother really had died.

Earthstorm began to feel a dread of horror creep up on him. "What exactly do they do in 'Then Land of Eve'? I mean, I've heard that they take cats, foxes and badgers to work for them but how would it be so bad to make Grace like that?" He asked Skyleaf.

Skyleaf shook her head sadly. "I'm not sure, Cloudsong would never tell us about them, but she'd say they were vicious. When she first came to the clan she had nightmares and would screech in the night, screaming the names of her old family. When we would ask her what she dreamt about she would say "I had a nightmare about the fights. The fights they made us have." But after that she never spoke of it again."

Leopardpaw licked the top of Rushingkit's head, attempting to comfort the kit "We needn't worry about the 'Land of Eve', why would they ever threaten us?" Then she remembered how some of their Clanmates had disappeared. Nightpaw, Fernpaw, and others had gone missing. Did the Land of Eve take them. She shook the thought from her mind. They must be safe, they're Clan cats... And they know how to handle themselves. But they have been gone for a while... I hope they're alright.
