Come Join Sunclan (a warrior cat rp ACCEPTING)

Leopardpaw jumped back in surprise, never having seen a fox before. She had heard descriptions of them, and had heard dangerous stories about various encounters with them. She hissed at the strange creature, wondering why it was friendly, and why Skyleaf was being friendly back. She shot a wary glance to her mentor, than lowered her hackles and resumed her calm, yet still suspicious stance. She figured it was safe enough.

Shadowpaw was also happy that Skyleaf had agreed to his sisters proposition, as he was also eager to look around the territory. He was also startled by the fox, but didn't jump to any conclusions, like his sister had.

Skyleaf chuckled at Leopardpaw's expression. "Mouse, is Sunclan's friend. She saved our home from becoming over raided with dogs," She mewed. "There are alot of foxes in Sunclan territory who'd risk their lives for us, if we asked,"

"Oh, well then it's nice to meet a friend of SunClan. Especially one who helped against the dogs! I hear their pretty tough." Leopardpaw said, her attitude towards the fox changing. As much as Leopardpaw wanted to talk to the fox, she was anxious, and wanted to see SunClan territory. She looked to her mentor and asked "So are we going to have a 'tour' now?"

Shadowpaw nodded politely to the fox, wondering how she even came upon SunClan. He had always been curious about other species. He also wondered how Mouse learned how to speak their language.

"Of course," Skyleaf mewed. Mouse put her prey into the fresh-kill pile and then yawned tiredly. "Mouse why don't you go rest? I'm sure your foxes will need it," she mewed but Mouse shook her head. "It wouldn't do any fox nor cat any good," she barked back.

Leopardpaw listened halfheartedly to her mentor chiding the fox, and then followed her mentor into SunClan territory. Her tail tip tingled, and she wondered what she might see.

Shadowpaw followed close behind his sister.

Skyleaf padded up to the meadow in Sunclan territory. "Tell me what can you both scent?" she asked them.

Leopardpaw took in a big breath of air, trying to detect any scents of prey or hostile animals. She was stumped for a moment, but then she could smell a familiar smell. She had always smelled it before, being dragged into camp by warriors after a fruitful hunting day, and had remembered devouring it before. She couldn't quite place her paw on it though. "A mouse?"

Shadowpaw took in a whiff of the fresh meadow air, and quickly replied "No... Snake." Snakes were sometimes found in SunClan territory, most could be caught as prey, but there was the rare moment that a poisonous snake would find it's way onto SunClan territory, and it usually had grave consequences.

"Good, Shadowpaw. It is a snake," skyleaf mewed. "Now tell me where can you scent it coming from?" She asked them. "If you can find it you can kill it quicker, remember that," she mewed.

Shadowpaw didn't whip his head around, searching for the snake, but instead lifted his nose and drank the scent in more. He could almost place it near a cluster of darker grass to the east, but then it seemed like it was coming from a mound of pebbles in the opposite direction. He raised a brow, trying to pin the scent in one spot, but he couldn't seem to do it. "I think it's coming from that darker grass." He flicked his tail in the eastward direction, but then turned towards the pebbles and added "Except, I can smell another scent in that direction. I don't know if there's two, or if I'm just doing it wrong..."

"You'll never know if you don't try to find out," Skyleaf mewed. She began stalking towards the other scent.
