Cloudsong purred loudly for her kits. "Wonderful Shadowpaw, Leopardpaw!" she mewed, her tail flickering behind her as she gave them licks.

Rushingkit woke up, and yawned tiredly before she remembered falling asleep next to Hawkkit. She got to her paw and she her fur. "You guys are apprentice's now right? Will you show us some battle moves?"

Shadowpaw laughed, and addressed Rushingkit's question "We haven't even started training yet, so if we showed you our 'moves' we would just be embarrassed."

"Hey! Speak for yourself," Leopardpaw retorted slyly, a smile on her face "I've got... Moves." She flicked her tail, grinning.

Shadowpaw chuckled and said "Besides, Rushingkit, you need sleep." He turned to Leopardpaw and said "And we should find our mentors."

Leopardpaw nodded and went to find Skyleaf, hopefully she'd be able to train today with Shadowpaw. Shadowpaw also went on his way, locating Eagleleap.

Skyleaf padded up to her apprentice. "For now we can start with the basics. Such as the hunter's crouch for instantce. Show me what you can do," she mewed to Leopardpaw.

Leopardpaw grinned, and using what Cloudsong taught her, she crouched low, keeping her tail at a medium height, and bringing her body low to the ground. She kept her ears perked and her nose alert to detect any scents.

Shadowpaw watched his sister, waiting for his own mentor.

((Are they at some sort of training area?))

Skyleaf nodded in approval. "Very good, now do you know any battle moves?" She asked.

"Yes!" Leopardpaw said excitedly. I'm lucky to have the deputy as my mentor. Leopardpaw thought, and she glanced at Shadowpaw. Poor Shadowpaw, I wonder where Eagleleap is. Leopardpaw said "Me an Shadowpaw know one, but we have to do it together, it is a partner one."

Skyleaf nodded. "Well then show me," she mewed.

Leopardpaw nodded to her mentor, and then flicked her tail to her brother. She crept forward, circling around a large rock that she decided would be their target. Shadowpaw also circled around it, but he settled on the opposite side of the rock. Leopardpaw flicked her tail again, and she dove towards the rock, excitement in her eyes. Shadowpaw got ready to charge from the other side, in order to block in the rock with no obvious way of escape for their 'opponent'. But before Shadowpaw could do anything, Leopardpaw had put too much force into her hind legs in the jump, and she overshot the rock, bowling right into Shadowpaw. Steaming with anger and embarrassment, Leopardpaw quickly jumped off of her brother, her ears hot and her knees shaking.

Skyleaf had watched them carefully and purred. "You put too much power in your hind legs, but that can easily be fixed. I must say for a couple of new apprentices you know alot," she mewed.

Leopardpaw's mood shot straight back up after the compliments "Thank you!" She mewed. "Most of what we know came from watching warriors around camp practicing, though we didn't know much because we never really left the nursery that much." Leopardpaw asked her mentor "Do you mind if we look around the territory with you? We've never actually seen it all that much before."
