Bracken smiled back and licked her ears before yawning. "Are you hungry? thirsty? do you want anything?" he asked looking at her wound "do you want me to find something to staunch the bleeding?"

Bracken asked and then decided he could tell her how he felt, he hesitated, "Crystal... " he looked into her eyes and knew that she wouldn't mind, but he wasn't sure about her feelings. "Cystal, I, um, I love you. I want to protect you with my life and hunt with you, for you, look after you!" he nodded and carried on "I want to... to... um... be your..m..ma. I want to be your mate!" he said and sat on his haunches surprised at his own couarge to tell Crystal.

"no, I'm fine- I think the bleeding is stopping," she said.
Her eyes widened a bit. "I love you to, Bracken." She said voice soft and filled with joy. "I want to be your mate, to."

Bracken was shocked, he couldn't believe Crystal really loved him. He licked her face hard and nudged her lovingly. "really? I can't belive it!" he said looking at her with wide eyes "your beautifu and I really love you!" he said than added more curisously "if you don't mind me asking since when have you loved me?" he asked akwardly not sure if it was the right thing to say.

Crystal smiled. "I-I've always loved you, Bracken. I just wasn't sure you'd honestly care about me back."

"I've always loved you to! I've always cared about you!" he smiled and added cheekily "so I suppose I'm Beta male now!" he said lifting his head high in a joke "not that I care about being beta male! I would still love even ig you were the omega!" he said embarrased.

Crystal smiled softly. She thought she saw something watching her by the entrance of the den, but was she overjoyed to think anything of it.

Bracken froze and his smile vanished he sensed someone outside the den and he turned quickly to face the entrance. he couldn't see anything but he growled to Crytsal "stay back! somethings out there! don't move! when I wave my tail run out and into Bliss and Mikas's den and stay with Bliss tell Mikas to come out!" he said and stepped out, he saw the bushes rustle and pelted into the forest following the sound of pawsteps running heavily.

Crystal nodded slowly, eyes wide, and turned to run to their den, but they werent there. Fear made her stop and freeve. She heard soft growling, and before she could turn around, teeth grasped her scruff and threw her against a tree. She cried out before everything went black.

Bracken arrived in a clearing and heard a wolf skid around to face him. it wasn't Krueger, he growled and realised it was a trick! he leapt on the wolf and bit deep into his shoulder "do you work for Krueger?" he asked and clawed the wolf when he said yes "where is he now?" he asked getting scared but still hldign the wold down "at the camp getting Bliss and Crystal" Bracken swore and ripped the wolf's fur open "GO! BEFORE I KILL YOU!" he growled and the wolf scrambled away Bracken turned and pelted back into the cmap where he saw Krueger standing over Crystal's bleeding body. Bracken gasped as h saw Crystal was close to death and snuck up behind Krueger he leapt at his throat and ripped out a chunk of his flesh. He clawed his back and pummeled his back with his hind paws Krueger had been taken by surprise and Bracken knew he had to kill him before he regained his head. Bracken jumped in front of Krueger and ripped the bolt attaching Kruegers glove to his paw. He ripped and clawed until it was loosened but now Krueger was ready to attack he leapt at Bracken but Bracken dodged and managed to remove the glove from Kruegers paw his paw was mutilated and Bracken gasped in horror at the sight of it's magled remains, he recovered quickly but felt a searing pain along his spine as Krueger ripped open the fur just like Backen had done to Krueger ally. He ignored it and stumbled to face Krueger. He leapt up and bit into his throat at the same time swinginh his whole body to hit Krueger around the head, but Krueger had moved in the same instance and as he was knocked out he swung wildly with his paw and cuffed Bracken over the head sending him flying, the last thing Bracken saw was Krueger passed out on the ground before his world went black to.
