Lamont watched carefully, his eyes steely as he assessed her every word, letting the lioness's sentences slowly wash over himself, considering the right way of responding. Lamont took a moment to draw his rough, salmon-hued tongue over his large pads before replying. "Noticing this is inevitable by itself...Do you think that there will be a problem, then?"

Personality: Xavier always has a gentle smile on his face. His eyes always reflect happiness, gentleness. He is always wanting to cheer others up, and is quite a charmer. He uses his deep, calm voice to sound distant, calm. However, once you become close he loves to mess around and joke. He doesn't care how goofy he looks standing on his head under a waterfall, as long as it makes someone smile he feels accomplished. He's very smart and sly, often testing others in a joking manor to see if they can figure out his prank.

Fears: Losing those close to him, floods, earthquakes.

She looked at him as though he were silly to believe that there was going to be any problem of the sort. "Of course not," She told him. Celestia's fur was still flat and her voice was still pleasant; there was no coldness to her tone, showing that she was not arguing with him. "On a lighter note," She continued, "why don't we go out to hunt for a bit?" She stretched, her paws clawing at the clean earth beneath her. "I could really use a little run or hunt."

It seems to roar.

Beats ever faster with your touch.

Xavier peered through the tall grass and down the sandy hill. His amber pools locked on eight individuals, a herd of antelope. His claws tore into the soft earth beneath him and his tail twitched expectantly. Then, he saw his chance, one of the three bucks had turned and was facing against him. Just close enough. The large male crept forwards, his eyes full of hunger, anticipation, he wanted this antelope. He needed this hunt. The black tip of his tail barely managed to stay undercover as he crept forwards, his muscles yearning to bunch and spring but he was not yet close enough. His mouth was slightly open, revealing parts of his ivory fangs that would soon be dyed red. After minutes of creeping forward and pausing, his stealth serving him well, he was close enough. The golden and black pelt rippled over his large muscles, then they bunched, tossing him at the creature, his mouth open, his claws ready. And then there was a horrible rip, a wail in pain, and a thud. The antelope had fallen, taking Xavier's paw with it. He was lucky and managed to pull it out with some difficulty and only injuries that would bruise. When the elk tried to stand he lunged for its neck, and the hunter felt the life drain from the creature as it's blood trickled down his throat.
