Appearence: Banshei is a melanistic jaguar. She has the strong, muscular build of a jaguar. She is slightly larger than most females, and weighs a bit more. Banshei's ears are small and rounded. Her paw pads are a soft, light pink color. Her black coat isn't very dark, and her rosettes and spots can easily be distinguished from the rest of her coat. Banshei's coat contains more rosettes that regular spots. Her eyes are a sea green color, but are blue around the edges or her irises. Her tongue is pink with one black spot on the right side near the tip.

Personality: Banshei is a sweet, loving cat with a big heart. Anyone who befriends her automatically has a protective, kindhearted partner. However, she has a very short fuse and when angered, somebody's got hell to pay. Banshei is a bit bipolar and can be happy one minute, depressed the next, and enraged the next. She tries to hide her constantly changing emotions, but often times fails at doing so. Though Banshei seems to be mostly kind, she can fight fairly well. She knows she has claws and fangs, and she is not afraid to use them. Those who anger her can expect at least one blow from one of her large, black paws. Banshei can withstand a fair amount of pain, but doesn't know when to stop fighting. She will often get lost in the battle, almost in a trance-like state of bliss, and will keep going and wear herself out. When Banshei has lost a fight, she is ashamed of herself and her pride is hurt deeply. Banshei loves cubs, if they're her own. She doesn't like the cubs of other females, and is jealous of any that have cubs. She will often harm the cubs unintentionally in her jealousy and annoyance. Banshei wants to have cubs of her own in the future, but doubts that any male would take her because of her emotional instability. Banshei can be very poetic and often will speak using a large vocabulary and will speak in a poetic form. She enjoys seeing other cats try to decipher her encoded speech.
Fears: Banshei fears water that can go over her head. She can swim, but for some unknown reason, she is deathly afraid of water that she could drown in. Drowning is another fear of hers, partially because of her fear of deep water. Banshei is also afraid of being alone. She cannot go without having a friend. She is a pack animal, not a loner. She sometimes thinks about if she had to be alone her entire life and sometimes has self-induced panic attacks, another flaw. She has panic attacks quite often and will just start shaking and panicking over what seems to be nothing.
