(I went ahead and introduced Lamont into the RP, I don't really know how to start on the rest.)

V I G O R
At a steady, speedy lope, Lamont was charging fast through the horizon, sinewy muscles rippling which each stride his massive frame created. He was running that way large beasts like him did, he did not appear to be going fast because of his size, but he was going pretty agile. As he arrived at the group of Vigor, he slowed down to a stop. He swung his massive head side to side, observing each one of the creatures there, surveying their forms and postures with yellowish eyes. Lamont's dark mane rolled like waves with each heavy breath he gave; lions were not biased on speed. His maw parted as he panted. He'd ran quite a distance. He flicked his cold, golden gaze over at the cluster of his comrades.

Mei-Xing

Mei-Xing lazed in her den, looking out of the entrance at the beautiful world. She saw many beautiful things; a pink butterfly floating in midair, as if dancing; A shaft of sunlight entering through a hole in the roof, making the floor look as if it had a spot of gold on it; Yet another thing was a pretty little green leaf that had fallen off of a branch and, by chance, had fluttered in through the den's door. She stared at the bright object, contemplating its beauty. "It is a shame it will be shriveled up in almost no time at all." She said in her smooth, quiet voice.

Asani

Asani sat happily in the sunny clearing that was the Velocity Tribe's camp. He hummed a little tune, keeping time by twitching his tail from side to side. He thought it was a great day; the sun was shining, it was just the temperature that suited him, and there were plenty of cute females in his tribe to flirt with if he wished. Yes, it was a great day! Smiling, he swatted away a fly that had flown too near him for his liking with his left paw. "Little guy didn't know what hit him!" Asani said with a laugh, his amber eyes gleaming with contentment. "Yup. I struck fast as a lightning bolt."
I really fear
That love, my dear,
Is very hard to find.
And while I've been searching for it,
I think I've lost my mind.

Summer; Velocity Cheetah; Leader
Image
I'll be fine...
With you by my side.
My world will not fall,
With you at my heels.
All is right in the world,
When you breathe evenly at night~

Summer had woken up with pretty bad pains. Her due date was nearing, every day her stomach swelled, and every day the pains worsened. She was also almost continuously hungry and thirsty, which is what had led her to the watering hole in the first place. Her smooth tongue dabbed at the still water, breaking it's calm, serene, ice-like appearance shattering like glass, the ripples carrying out everytime her fleshy tongue touched the smooth, cool water. After her stomach was full and she was hydrated, that was when she went to lay in the shallow waters on the edge of the pond. The water came up little past her elbows when she laid down, but it was refreshing all the same. Gently her eye lids closed over her soft, amber eyes, drifting into a light sleep. She was being careless, opening herself up to any attack by a lion or leopard. There was a quiet swoosh... Her ears flicked. Then another came and Summer was awake, alert now to whatever had been moving. She felt watched, hunted almost, but there were no creatures around, and no where for them to hide except the water. "The water!" Summer hissed and jumped back, realizing what had made the noise. Her eyes scanned the water until they met their target. A scaley head disguised as a log was facing her, two yellow orbs bearing into her, seeing straight, it's gaze unwavering. Staring back, the cheetah was calm now. She was out of the water, back in her element and out of the crocodile's. Even if it decided to try to hunt her on land, she could out run it. Crocodiles were fast, but she was a cheetah. Her eyes held the creature's until it dipped it's head under water, disappearing to who-knows where. Now that the danger was gone, she sat down, her soft tongue running over her silk-like fur.

Summer's pant was hot, heavy as she ran, her stomach hanging low. There was no wind, but it felt good to run. It felt good to be free. Suddenly a movement caught her amber eyes. Flicking the star-like orbs to her left, she found what had caught her attention, a baby warthog. He paws made a sharp turn left and she started to gain speed, slowly gaining on the warthog. Her solid black claws lept from their enclosure, gleaming, deadly. She was now about five feet from the warthog, and it was tiring in it's run, it's stubly legs were nothing in comparison to her long ones. Now she was at four feet... Three an a half... Two. Drawing in a breath she made a sharp right turn, following the animal and pounced, her claws tearing into it's soft flesh, ripping into the meat. Beaten, the hog collapsed, and Summer opened her mouth wide, showing her ivory teeth, clamping onto the creature's neck and holding it there, until its struggling seized. Picking up her prize she smiled, slowly walking back to camp, her feet warm on the ground. It took quite a deal of time to get back to camp, between the heavy hog and her heavy stomach, the heat, her thirst. When at last she reached her home she lay the hog in the middle of camp, taking a chunk of it for herself. Carrying her meal she lept onto the rock that towered above her den, laying down in the shade of a tree to eat.

Just because someone,
Tells you of your worth,
Does not mean they speak the Truth.
Truth is a hard language,
Many struggle to learn,
Just remember in your heart,
Who you are.

Kibalu looked at the horizon, where the sun would rise and where it would fall. "When the sun rises in the East," He murmured, reciting a hymn his mother had taught him, "Many are born. Lions, tigers, giraffes, antelope. But when the sun sets in the West, lives are taken. Spirits are guided to the heavens above, to wait with their ancestors in the stars. Here they drink the frothy drink, made from the galaxy itself." He carried on, his eyes focused, deep in thought, "More lives meet the stars each night than the lives that descend from them in the morning. War, famine. Merciless killings and murders. Carelessness and ignorance." He sighed, now finished, and turned from the land to gaze at the endless sky. "Is it so much to ask, for peace?" He asked the sky and turned his path back to camp. There weren't many lionesses, and this did worry him. Males had too many hormones in them, too much fight. And with this many males and so few females, lions would not think twice before duking it out for a lioness. He himself had no chance unless he just was himself, as he refused to fight for a lioness. True love was not how well one fought, but how one fit with another.

I can do it, I can run, I can hunt you down.
You can try, but you can't stop me 'cause I'm gaining ground.
I'm light on my feet and I'm quick to the punch.
I had a heavy breakfast, but a real light lunch.
I'm a raging bonfire, a cherry bomb, I'm me.

A young female leopard continued to groom herself, licking her then slowly dragging it over her head. It was a relaxing afternoon for the small groups. So far there was only one other leopard she had met. Vincent; the handsome young co-leader. Her tail flicked softly as she set her paw down, opening her jaws to reveal the two casings covering her large canines. Soon it would be time to hunt. She looked down at her claw casing lying down in the grass next to her paw.

Leopards had somehow inherited intelligence that no other cats had inherited. They hadn’t a clue why this wonderful world was only ruled by cats on a large scale, but it fit well. The environment seemed to adapt wonderfully to the life of the four tribes. Usually the young female lying in the tall grass, addressed as Hollywood, was the only one to hunt. No other leopards had taken on the huge responsibility to hunt for the pride. Luckily, the leopards seemed to be one of the smallest prides around.

Hollywood pushed herself to her feet, stretching softly. Once she was done, she looked around. She had spotted a boulder around here earlier; it wouldn’t be hard to see again, right? She lifted her head high, finally spotting it. She half-heartedly trotted towards it, stopping within jumping range. Stepping forward a couple times, she lowered her body. When she sprung, she pushed herself off the ground, her back claws digging into the soil as she gracefully landed on top of the large grey mass. Finally she could get a good look around here.

I'm rough-and-tumble, I'm the one to beat,
I'm a fresh coat of blacktop burnin' at your feet.
I've got a poisonous sting, when I rain I pour.
I'm the best of the best, I'm the soupe du jour.

(Gamble will come later. I want to work on Hollywood meeting up with Vincent since they're the only two.)
