Aka yelped awake, shooting out under the snow as he turned on Juno, his neck fur sticking straight up. "Oh," he calmed down. "I didn't know it was morning." he barked guiltily. The white snow dusted his pelt as he looked at the other red husky, she seems more embarrassed that she had tripped over me, he said to himself as he studied her body signals, not sure what to do next.

Juno sighed, her tail swaying slightly in amusement. After all, she had just woken up herself. But Aka didn't know that. "Well, you might as well get up." The husky barked in a slightly playful tone. "Or I'll sit on you till you do." The dog's head tilted as a thought danced in her mind. Well that was strange. At first, she'd been insanely angry, but now... Happy. That's never happened before. Realizing she'd probably had a look of confusion playing on her face, she washed it away with a tongue loll, resulting in a doggy grin.

Tourniquet raised an eyebrow at Shasta, "I'm not a party pooper, I was just asking Shasta." She snapped back rolling her eyes at the male, with a slight smile. "Well, you keep on playing in the snow-- I'll be going for a small walk. If anyone needs me." she dismissed the husky, and turned trotting off.

Shasta's tongue lolled out in a happy grin. Actually, Tourn scared him a bit, being a lead dog and such. "Yes sir!" Immediately, the happy face turned to horror. He'd just called the dog a dude! "I-I-I mean, uh, Leader-Ma'am- highness-Tourn dog." The Eskimo dog sputtered. Deciding he'd just made an idiot of herself, he fell silent with an intense intrest in his paws.

Tourniquet whirled around, huffing slightly at Shasta's words. "Watch your mouth boy-- I'm not sure what some of the other dogs would do if you did something like that to them." was all she replied. But after going over her words a few times, she scolded herself for talking in such a harsh tone, and glanced back at the husky. "Sorry, that came out a bit more stern than I would have liked it too. Would you be willing to let me make it up? Maybe you could accompany me for a walk?"

Shasta immediately fell into a cower, tail tucked between his legs in fear. Why was she so angry at that? It was an accident. Ears and head falling in regret, he continued to listen till Tourn was done ranting and turned away. The dog straightened up, trying to collect his little pride. But as she turned back, Shasta almost expected her to snap again. But she surprised him with a sorry walk. "Of course." He woofed with another pant-grin. He trotted over to his lead dog with a confused look.

Tourniquet frowned slightly at the submissive reaction-- she was a dominant dog, but she dearly hoped that Shasta's reaction had not been because of her rank; the ranks were supposedly equal, and Tourn wanted them to stay that way. She continued on, trotting playfully, "It's a nice day out, isn't it?"

Shasta, now over the female's snap, nodded in an easy agreement. "Well, if you love snow, it's always a lovely day." The dog almost stopped and banged his head on the ground. Well that was intelligent. Why was he such a senseless dog? Almost anything vocal that passed his maw was dumb. "Well that just killed my smart brain cells." He sighed, obviously in a showy way. "Those were the last ones too..."

Rachett stood up, and started to walk away from the other dogs. She lifted her nose in the air and sniffed. Where was Aeon? The malamute strangely found that it was nicer to be in company of humans than with dogs, and she was admittedly a fan of Aeon.

~GARRUS~
Garrus' ear flicked as he heard someone approach him. He turned his head to look at them, and saw that it was Jude. "Morning Jude", Garrus said somewhat stiffly. Not that he was in a bad mood, he was just surprised. He liked the company none the less. He grinned toothily at the white Samoyed. His large grey tail wagged slightly and he lifted his head. "Any news of when we are starting the race?" Maybe his excitement had leaked into his speech, but Garrus didn't mind. He loved to pull the sled, it was what he was bred to do.
