Aer blinked uncomprehendingly at the large wave that was surging toward her. Finally her jaw dropped in understanding and she swore loudly and colorfully as she turned around and ran away from the wall of water.

Tobie ran after Aer and said "run up a hill!"

"no kidding!" she shouted back. Running for her life had not put her in a good mood.

tobie ran up the next hill and sat down panting.

Aer was on the same hill as tobie, pacing nervously. She kept glancing at the approaching wall of water and swearing.

Tobie walked to Aer and said "look calm down!"

She whirled on him her hackles raised, but then seemed to think better of it and let her fur lie flat. She said in a measured voice, "In case you haven't noticed this is the perfect time to not be calm!"

"i Know but i'm here with someone i REALLY like and she doesn't care!" he sat down.
