Blossomtail sat next to Mosscloud, who was laid on the ground, almost cradling her kit. Blossomtail started to groom her, trying to comfort the queen. Blossomtail has lost kits of her own, and every kit that had died in the nursery she had mourned.

Koikit tried to stand up to play with her sibling and she let out a terrible cough.
