She can somehow see me even when no other cat can." I laughed "She can go warn her clan" I then started talking to Tanglefur herself "You can tell your clan, you can put up your best defenses. But just remember, we are already dead. If you kill us for good, it will be a blessing to be freed from the prison we were given, away from Starclan's light." I released Tanglefur and stood back "now go" I turned to Thornpaw "I will be seeing you next time you sleep," I then turned to the warrior "you too Rowanscar" I heard a voice behind me and turned to see Burningleaf "Why are you here Burningleaf?" I snarled "I'm dealing with some business"

"But I can't go back, what should I do?" She asked, "They'll murder me and I don't want to see the look on Wolfstar's face. Is it possible I can come back with you two?"

He smiled at Brokenwillow, genuinely this time, a rare but handsome sight. "I was lonely," he said, only half joking. "Besides," he continued, not getting close enough to the clan cats so others could smell his scent, "I wanted to see the mysterious Thornpaw." He had gleaned the name of the apprentice by means of listening to the conversation for a moment before he had emerged. "I won't stop anything. Just wanted to say hi."
He listened to Rowanscar's words. "Your own clan, murder you? Downright disgraceful." He sat. "They might as well be twolegs if they plan to do so. However...what will they say when Thornpaw and Tanglefur here come back by themselves?"

I smiled at my old apprentice, ignoring Burningleaf "Of course you can my apprentice, you can live in the dark forest with us. I'll show you my den where you can make yourself a nest. And, you can come back here whenever you want, although, since you're not dead and not really a dark forest cat, you won't be able to make yourself invisible"

Wolfstar

Everyone in camp gasped, "Bramblewind!!" Wolfstar called, "We desperately need your help! Go to the medicine cat den, now Tanglefur!" He turned to Thornpaw, "As for you, what happened? I want honesty and details. Now." Wolfstar commanded fear edging his young male voice.
