He looked at her shaking his head quickly "no..no..no...I didn't mean she is dying or anything...she is not young anymore and things can become very bad fast when you're older" he meowed to her. He flicked his ears a few times when the deputy told about liking to be with him, yes he did like to be with her too, but that sure made him a little confused "...Yes, I do like your companion too, but is that for the best...I mean deputy and medicine cats need to work together..." he meowed pawing the ground under his paws. That was not exactly the way he wanted to put it, but he could not confess what he feels toward her 'not now not never...my little secret....how sad...' he thought with a sight.

He stayed close to the river, unmoving waiting for some fishes to get close enough for him to strike, he heard what Sootleaf said, but ignored it at the moment, as the fish was there and he needed to focus to catch it. He licked his lips, suddenly pouncing into the water, feeling how the fish moved under his front paws, quickly killing it before it got away. He took the fish to the ground looking up at Creamflower and Sootleaf "actually I am always being a horrible fisher" he laughed "I usually got some caught only by some great luck" he meowed looking at Sootleaf.

She listened to some of the cat's conversations about loyal, which made her a little bit confused, how her maybe little harsh words to one cat make her be unloyal to the whole clan? is Redsplatter the whole clan then? if you say a thing or two to her you're the whole clan's enemy? She shook her head annoyed, she didn't get anything any longer. She stop fully listening when Redsplatter started to talk, she talked way too much that she felt like that wound on her body was not painful enough, but she was getting a headache as well. At the moment when the word camp come to some of the cat's lips, she was not sure which as she didn't really pay any attention to their talkings, but the camp word was like a lifesaver for her, as now she could get away from the annoying cats. She left the group at the moment when they entered the camp, ignoring the cats and her wounds, for now, followed after Needlestorm which was on the way to the leader's den as well "I am here...you wanted to talk?" she meowed to Miragestar, her voice was emotionless and cold.

She nodded to Acornpaw, her eyes looking at Hailpaw for a moment, seeing that the tom seemed somehow unsure, but he did agree to her little idea "yes, I think so too, we could need to get our mentors with us, it would do some big problems if we go out to train ourselves..." she meowed flicking her tail. She looked over to her mentor still talking with Brightcloud "who knows maybe they do have some plans for us as well?" she meowed silently.

Needlestorm flicker their ears unsure of what to say after Miragestar replied, future patrols would need to be told so that made sense. Their ears swiveled in the direction of a warrior approaching and she realized quickly that Twistflare had approached them. As the molly approached Needlestorm's eyes narrowed as they took in the cold, indifferent expression on the molly who had so far caused trouble. That alone wouldn't have bothered them as much but the words that tumbled from the molly were cold and emotionless and blatantly disrespectfully. Needlestorm's eyes flashed with fury and her fur spiked at the disrespectful tone but for once in their life they held their tongue. Instead they shot Miragestar a look that channeled their anger at Twistflare while also showing their respect for their leader, Miragestar didn't need them to fight her battles for her. At the order Needlestorm dipped their head showing the upmost respect for their leader. "I will take Stormgrowl, Redsplatter and Lionstride to follow the scent" they meowed solemnly and then swung away without a second glance at Twistflare. Motioning towards Stormgrowl they beckoned for the winged warrior to follow them. "Stormgrowl I would like you to come, if we run into the fox I know you will fight twice as hard to get revenge for it wounding your father" they meowed and then glanced around until they spotted Redsplatter and Liongaze headed towards the medicine cat's den. "Redsplatter, Liongaze, Wolfheart will be okay from here with both Specklepaw and Freshbreath to look after them. I need both of you to come with me to follow the foxes scent trail. Miragestar wants to know where it has gone and I personally want to make sure it has left our territory."

Acaciapetal sensed confusion coming from him, and she frowned slightly. Why was Freshbreath confused? Did she say something wrong? Perhaps she needed to explain more. "Yes, we do need to work together. Although, I suppose all of the high ranks need to work together," she added quickly. Acaciapetal was unsure of where the confusion was coming from, and there seemed to be a cloud between them when it came to her trying to sense the rest of his emotions. Why couldn't she read Freshbreath properly? This almost never happened before. Not for him or any other cat.

☁ He winced at the little yelp that escaped from Acornpaw, but he softened and flattened the fur on his back once she tried coming up with something else. Perhaps these she-cats weren't too bad. "I guess I agree. I mean, I don't like prophecy training in general... but we would have to have at least three or more warriors with prophecies helping us," Hailpaw explained logically. He hoped that they wouldn't necessarily have to do prophecy training, but training, in general, could be fun with them. Maybe some battle moves against each other, one on one on one. Or maybe even two on one! "Besides, Coconutpaw is right. We can't go training by ourselves."

✘ Bumblesight gave a very long explanation, but at one point it seemed like he was mumbling to himself and it was hard for her to hear. Which caused even more irritation. Nettlefern didn't like to admit that sometimes it felt like her ears were filled with cotton. "Speak up when you're talking to me, tom. Do you really think something is going to happen? It's quite boring in this camp," she scoffed at his words and shook her head. Nettlefern watched him back away from the fresh-kill pile, settling down not far from the mass of prey and the place where she was sitting down. She rolled onto her back and laid down. "Perhaps he'll bring you something back. At least some cat is hunting."

(this is gonna be my wrap-up post for bumblesight & hollyspring before the skip, also it clears up some stuff about his powers)

Bumblesight made a small hum-like noise, angling his head towards the leaders' den just after he saw Twistflare and the others returning to camp. After he used his far-vision--though he often disliked spying--he focused back on Nettlefern. "It seems like Twistflare is in some trouble with Miragestar, but I can't pick out any details. They both look...displeased, to say the least." He sighed in thankfulness that he was able to see directly into the entrance, or he would've gotten a close-up look at woven branches and flowers. He then heard some rustling at the entrance. Even without his enhanced sight, he could instantly recognize the fawn outline of his mate, and he gave a purr, before turning back to Nettlefern. "Well, it appears that Hollyspring is back with a rabbit. I'm going to go and share tongues with him. Have a nice day," he waved his tail and trotted to where Hollyspring was settling down, rubbing against his mate as they sat down and began to feast upon the rabbit.

Creamflower watches Scarletjade catch a fish and purrs. "Great catch Scarletjade!" she said. Suddenly, she notices movement near the edge of the stream and sees a fish. She slowly raises her paw, aims, and strikes the fish with her unsheathed claws. Biting the neck, she looks up at Sootleaf and Scarletjade with happiness shining in her eyes, holding the fish in her mouth.

He limped into camp, and looked around. It looked like a lot of the clan was out, possibly hunting judging by the small fresh kill pile. Wolfheart turned and headed into the medicine cat den, calling out as he went in. “Freshbreath, Specklepaw, are you in here?”

Stormgrowl’s fur prickled as she snarled under her breath. How dare Twistflare speak to their leader like that? If she hadn’t been told to leave, she would’ve clawed the she-cat’s ears off. “Of course, Miragestar,” she said, voice heavy with rage. Stormgrowl turned to leave, wings fidgeting with barely contained rage. However, Needlestorm motioning towards her made her stop. “That fox will know better than to mess with my family,” Stormgrowl agreed, following after them.
