Crescentstar gave the warrior a small nod in agreement, knowing his perspective would be what truly decided whether or not Meadowpaw would move onto become a warrior. Although he knew she was ready, he wanted to show that he would make sure. He then replied, "Of course, I will make sure to keep an eye on her. If you say she's ready, I believe so as well."

Meadowpaw could not help but grimace at how the situation seemed to escalate between the two. She did not contribute at first, not wanting to make things worse, in case the two turned on her. As she waited for the argument to play out, she watched as Thunderpaw butted in in an attempt to stop the argument, causing her to roll her eyes at his attempts. She ignored him and Cricketpaw, seeing as she did not see the need to acknowledge them for the time being, as she turned her attention towards Smudgepaw. She chuckled, "Don't practice with kits, eh? That's rich coming from a kit Wirth your maturity."
With that she turned her attention to Cricketpaw at the sound of her words against Berrypaw. She snorted at her statement and retorted, "And you, don't act like you're so much better because you're a sad excuse for a cat. You do realize the spirit of a warrior isn't determined by blood right? Otherwise you'd have far more potential as a clan member."

Sunblaze woke up with the rising sun, as per usual for him. He was not exactly sure why his mind had him do so; maybe his name had something to do with it. Regardless of whatever the reasoning may be, Sunblaze was up and ready to start the day. He stood himself up and padded out of his den to see who else was up.

Moon got up and shook out her pelt. She jumped down from the rock and stretched. She saw a rabbit and pounced on it. She picked it up and jumped back on the rock. She tore into the rabbit, her breakfast.

As the apprentice spoke, Cricketpaw could only roll her eyes. Usually, Smudgepaw annoyed her; yet today he seemed to take it to the extreme with all the apprentices. More than "Well you sure act like it, Starclan forgive us if anyone upsets Smudgepaw or so help us he'll throw a fit for days!" Speaking in a mocking voice, the darker apprentice's ears flattened against the top of her head. Always easily irritated she was quite easy to get a reaction out of, something that made her sharp word always follow up with a new issue. If Fireclan was to simply welcome in every stray and kittypet they met what was the point of the warrior code? They'd be no better then the enemies they fought. "Isn't that a joke!" Actions needed no explanation and from what Cricketpaw could see, Smudgepaw was lying through his teeth even if he himself was unaware of it. Even if he was being honest, there was no reason for the apprentice to give him any time of day in giving him the gratification of being right. She'd oppose any cat who bothered her until the day that Starclan dragged her to Silverpelt. "Weren't you the one who just told her 'don't practice with kits'? You should try listening to what you say before preach the exact opposite. At least I have the guts so speak my mind unlike you load of badger droppings; not to mention if any of you believe an outsider has the same amount of loyalty as a clan born cat you're even more hare-brained than I thought. What connections does an outsider have to a clan? I'll tell you the answer, it's none." Glaring as she changed her gaze from both Smudgepaw to Meadowpaw, Cricketpaw couldn't possibly believe how soft her clan mates were. Blood made all the difference, Berrypaw had only been in the clan for two short moons, if the oppertunity for a better more pleasant life apperead Cricketpaw felt with certainty that she would take it. There was no allegiance to keep a hold of if you had no family, even friends were expendable to rogues. Berrypaw was no different even if she did possess a clan name, something that Cricketpaw full-heartedly believed she didn't deserve.

She nodded to the deputy's questions "yes, Berrypaw's training is doing great, she is very fast to learn and took her training somewhat seriously, well of course she has still a long way to go, before getting her warrior name" she meowed to her. She looked toward the apprentice's den, seeing how Berrypaw took a nest out of the den, and noticed the rising tensions between the apprentice "O-ou? I see some problems coming..." she meowed with a sight.

He nodded "thank you..." he meowed flicking his ears as he looked to the side of the camp where the apprentices den was "Well I think I take her away now, the tensions seem to be very bad there..." he meowed to him, flicking his tail over the apprentices. He was noticed something was going on between the apprentices, likely he was not the only one who was noticed it 'Better to split them before that tensions turn into a fight' he thought himself. He then looked at Sunblaze there 'hmm, maybe I could ask him to do some training with Cricketpaw and Meadowpaw?' he keeps thinking.

She is out of the camp, gathering some new moss for her nest, she sniffed the air for any dangers as she got to the place she knew to have a good amount of dry and soft moss. As she got closer she smelt the fresh scent of a rabbit and scent of a stranger cat, which grew her curiosity. As a medicine cat, it could be risky for her to meet a stranger cat, alone, some of the outsiders were aggressive and didn't really care about the ranks of the clan, but she could not hide her curiosity for now. Especially when the scent was coming to the same way she knew the great moss place was, so she could only hope that this cat was a nice one.

He looked annoyed now, all of his good humor was gone, even the hilarious emotions his stinky nest gave to Berrypaw didn't amuse him anymore "that was a joke...but whatever...It was waste of time to even speak to you" he meowed to Cricketpaw with a cold voice. He then looked at his nest which was there in the clearing now, he turned to Berrypaw "You know what? I thank you to move my nest in here, I don't want to even share the den or anything with her..." he meowed looking at Cricketpaw there with a dark glare "I hope foxes come and eat you...you deserve it" he muttered almost whispering 'you rat' he thought himself, starting to walk away from the other apprentices.

Whisperstep followed Lilyjaw over to the apprentice den, watching the whole thing unfold before her eyes. The fact that the apprentices treated Berrypaw as such, even after she had an explosive melt down wasn’t okay to the stout she-cat. The she-cat looked over at Berrypaw, seeing that she clearly was hurt by what the apprentices said. Berrypaw had pushed the cats aside, running from the den, clearly hurt. The she-cat hissed, looking at all of the apprentices, “Shame on all of you!” Whisperstep yowled. “Even if what Berrypaw had done was wrong, there was no call for the things you had said to her. Berrypaw will be getting her fair share of talking but for now, all of you—a complete shame!” Whisperstep growled. “As punishment, all of you will be going to every den and cleaning every nest. Even Berrypaw when I talk to her. If I so hear one complain, there will be another punishment!” Her ears pinned down as she glared at the cats. “I assume you all better get going,” She paused. “And as for Smudgepaw, before you start cleaning, go find Berrypaw and talk to her. Don’t you come back until you both have apologized!” She hissed before looking over at Lilyjaw, “I think this next patrol will be only warriors, no apprentices; as we have kits as apprentices right now.” Whisperstep glared at the apprentices.

Before Whisperstep could say a word, she looked up, seeing the deputy. The cats belittling her and the deputy overhearing it completely embarrassed her. Her ears pinned back, looking at all the cats, not saying a word before running out of the apprentice den, pushing the deputy aside on accident before going to the clan’s entrance. She began to weep, such words hurt the young she-cat. She was at loss of words. “Maybe I’m not meant for being in a clan,” She whispered to herself. “They all hate me.” She whined as she looked out towards the territory, she leaned up against a stump and sighed. She knew she was in trouble but didn’g care at this moment.

A meow of laughter slipped from her lips as Smudgepaw wished for foxes to be her untimely end. Like that was going to happen any time soon. Contented with how much she had affected him, the black she-cats whiskeres twitched, amused as she spoke, watching Berrypaw run off with her words driving behind. "Better watch your words Smudgepaw, foxes eat crowfood and you fill all the boxes when it comes to being a rotten piece of prey." Tail sweeping against the flooring of the apprentice den with an agitated expression, the tip of her tail flicked impatiently as Whisperstep hissed at them. Ears flattened more then previously as their deputy signaled her obvious dissapointment, the smaller black she-cat could only think of how irate Whisperstep was. Composure was definitely not a word that she was familiar with. "Wait a minute Whisperstep." The dark apprentice called after the deputy as their punishment was set in stone. "Thunderpaw shouldn't be in trouble, he tried to stop us from fighting and didn't arrive till after Berrypaw threw out Smudgepaw's nest." With a curt meow, she didn't beg or attempt to slither out of their punshiment, they deserved it for fighting among themselves even if Cricketpaw was in the right. Thunderpaw on the other hand was an innocent party, he wouldn't have gotten in trouble if it wasn't for the black she-cat spouting out more words than she could fall back on. The rest of her fellow apprentices would have to fend for themselves, Cricketpaw wouldn't be sticking out her neck for a bunch of mouse-brained cats who couldn't see beyond what made them comfotable. Cricketpaw was more than willing to challenge them knowing that she was doing the right thing; why couldn't the rest of them see that had all the reason to speak her mind. Afterall, Berrypaw ran off with the first sight of trouble rather than stick it out and defend herself. Luckily though, their deputy had forgotten about Cricketpaw's comment about being clan born, or rather, maybe she agreed? Nevertheless she was glad to see Smudgepaw getting the brute of her wrath, singled out like a thrush among a pack of dogs. At the very least she didn't have to apologize, something that would be much more difficult for the bitter she-cat than cleaning nests would.

Doestep had been curled up quite contentedly in the warrior's den when the low, urgent meowing of an argument had awoken her. The silver she-cat opened one amber eye and sighed to herself softly, sounded like the apprentices were fighting among themselves this morning. That wasn't something she really wanted to get involved in if she could help it. She yawned and uncurled herself from her nest. It was probably high time she went out and started her day, with a yawn, Doestep smoothed her pelt with a few quick strokes of her tongue before heading out of the warrior's den. The scene unfolding in front of her was definitely an interesting one. She frowned at the sight of Smudgepaw heading towards a bundle of moss in the middle of the clearing and assumed that it used to form his nest. She blinked in surprise for a moment before shaking her head fondly, she and her clanmates used to get up to all sorts of mischief back when they were apprentices. Judging by the body language that Whisperstep was displaying, the apprentices had perhaps taken this little argument too far. Doestep felt a slight pang of sympathy, things had been difficult for them all since the tornado had wreaked havoc through their camp. Tensions were high throughout the clan and so arguments were bound to happen.

Doestep redirected her attention from the squabbling apprentices and made her way to the fresh kill pile, offering a smile to Burnshadow as she passed him on her way. The rumbling of her stomach only further confirmed to her that she needed to get something to eat before she started the day. Hopefully Whisperstep would send her out on one of the patrols that morning once she and Lilyjaw had sorted the apprentices out, she was itching to get out in the open and make herself useful, the camp atmosphere could be quite stifling recently.

She watched as the deputy raced to the apprentices there, following her silently, looking the apprentices one after another as she spoke to them. She gave a little look after Berrypaw as she runs out of the camp, feeling the sympathy toward the younger cat as she knew how it felt to be not clan-born in camp. She nodded to Whsperstep "it seems so..." she meowed to her with a sigh.

He looked the scene in distance, seeing how the deputy was the first one to get between the rivalry apprentices 'I quess I do need to wait before planning anything with Meadowpaw...even thought I am not sure what happened there' he wondered.

He looked at the deputy, listening to her, not really surprised at all that they got punished, but he didn't get why he was the one to apologize Berrypaw "Wait a minute, I am fine with the punishment, but why I am the only one to apology Berrypaw when Cricketpaw was the only one who brought up the fact that she is not a clan born and the thing seems to be the only problem to her" he meowed to his mentor. He didn't really care if the cats were clan-born or not, as long they prove their loyalty to the clan.

Whisperstep’s ears perked up as she looked over at Cricketpaw, listening to what she had to say then Smudgepaw; she was livid. She wasn’t there to hear the full story on Cricketpaw’s belittling. The orange tabby’s ears pinned down as she looked over at Smudgepaw, “Thank you for coming to me about Cricketpaw. Please go do what I asked, thank you.” She then glared over at Cricketpaw. “Now you,” She hissed. The deputy stormed up towards the she-cat, getting up in her face as she did so. “Thunderpaw was part of the whole thing, he shall be punished at once. That’s not the point I’m about to make.” Whisperstep’s fur on her back began to puff up as she was sick of Cricketpaw’s words. “Words that you spoke about Berrypaw better not come out of your mouth again or I’ll make sure you miss your warrior ceremony until you can learn to act right,” She growled. “There are more than plenty of cats who aren’t clan-born that were far better than some clan-born cats. This was over a mere nest and you blew it up way out of proportion; more shame on you than any of the other apprentices. I suggest you better keep your mouth shut before you get more punishment.” She hissed, her eyes glared into the apprentice’s eyes. “Such a kit,” She growled once more before getting out of the apprentice’s face. “Now I suggest all of you apprentices do as you’re told,” She yowled. Whisperstep was sick of all of them; Starclan help them she thought to herself before turning to Lilyjaw. “I need a word with you,” She meowed softly.

Berrypaw’s ears pinned back as she fell to the ground, laying down on the cold dirt; she didn’t care. “They all hate me,” She cried as she hid her face with her paws, weeping more. The blue she-cat was beyond hurt; she even thought about going mute at this point.
