She instead looked to Whisperstep there, with Blazewing, wondering what were they talking about, it's not like she needed to know about that anyway "Good morning Whisperstep, Blazewing" she meowed "are you thought about the patrols yet for this morning?" she meowed to Whisperstep. She thought for a moment "the forest is lively as ever...lots of mice, but not much larger prey than that though" she added.

He licked his lips as he made noticed the leader was alone there, maybe now could be a good time to go to talk to him about Meadowpaw, flicking his tail he walked to the large tom "Good morning Crescentstar, I hope you're not busy now, but do you think you had time to check on Meadowpaw? She is doing good on her training and in my eyes, she is ready to earn her name...but of course, if you who do the assessments to her?" he meowed to him. He felt a little nervous somehow, probably about the fact that his apprentice was the Cresentstar's daughter, and what if he seems that his mentoring skills are not enough for Meadowpaw.

She looked at Thunderpaw "Oh I see, well then you could get something to eat or go to memorize the herbs were missing at the moment, I sorted them last night so no need to do anything for them just look and see what we miss..." she meowed to him. She took the moss to her mouth, looking at him once again "I am going to get some new moss to my nest, so I will be back soon, no need to hustle, just take your time" she meowed 'I already know which herbs we need to collect more, but this could be good practice to him' she thought flicking her tail to signal that she was leaving.

He flicked his ears little annoyed about the responses the two was given to him, it was not something he was wanted to have, but it was nothing new either, being the only tom at the den of many she-cats, made him look like a rascal who had no brains at all. Sometimes he loved it and sometimes he hated it, he didn't have many friends in there, but it didn't really bother him that much either. He just wanted some respect here, and not being the dirty one in here, he looked after the she-cats starting to change their beddings, he smirked "no...my bedding is fresh as new" he meowed to them, knowing very well that it was far from fresh.

...Lately, she hadn’t been wanting to speak to anyone due to the death of her brother but Whisperstep finally began to open up once more....
Whisperstep flicked her ear as she heard Lilyjaw come her way. She looked over towards the she-cat, giving her full attention. “I was just about to ask Blazewing to go on a patrol with me after we share tongues,” She paused. “And yes, sadly the prey is scarce since the chaos happened.” Whisperstep fell short after that, not wanting to talk about it.

That was it, that very sentence that Smudgepaw broke her. Her ear twitched in annoyance as she quickly spun around to look at the tom dead in the eyes, “You know what Smudgepaw?” She growled as she began to storm towards him, getting up in the tom’s face. “I was being nice by saying I needed to clean my nest when all I smelt was your nasty nest. That nest almost sent me to Starclan by just smelling it,” Berrypaw growled in annoyance. She flicked her tail to-and-fro, clearly showing signs of annoyance. “I suggest you clean your nest before I throw your nest outside of the den where you can sleep!” She hissed.

Crescentstar finally exited his den to face the day to the best of his abilities. As he looked around the camp, he noticed one of the warriors approach him, one he recognized as Meadowpaw's mentor. He gave the tom a greeting nod as he listened to him speak. As he listened, he pondered the cat's words. He knew Meadowpaw had trained hard for many moons, and she was deadset on being the best she could be. After a few seconds, he replied, "I suppose I should formally observe her. I do believe she is ready, but as her mentor, I value your opinion on that matter more. However, if you are not entirely sure, maybe we can give her a few days to perfect her abilities."

As Meadowpaw entered the den, she could not help but stop as she was once again hit with an unpleasant stench. It was almost sickening to her, but she was unsure whose nest exactly was the cause. She knew for a fact it was not hers, as all it reminded her of was her sister's sweet scent. She knew it needed to be changed eventually, but it was not nearly as bad. She made a few sounds of disgust as she back out of the den, only to be met with Berrypaw confronting the other apprentice. She could not help but nod in agreement as the other apprentice spoke, not feeling the need to jump in.

Sunblaze woke up with the rising sun, as per usual for him. He was not exactly sure why his mind had him do so; maybe his name had something to do with it. Regardless of whatever the reasoning may be, Sunblaze was up and ready to start the day. He stood himself up and padded out of his den to see who else was up.

She listened to the deputy finding this odd tune on her voice when she responded to her, which made her wonder if her question or words hit the tender place "Of course, thatäs much to be it then..." she meowed silently. He made me look away for a moment "Do you mind if I join you for a patrol? maybe I will go to take Berrypaw too?" she keeps meowing.

He then looked at his paws "Thought I don't mind to train her couple more days, including what she thinks for her skills, that's a very important part too, to know you can do things to become a warrior" he meowed with a sight.

He turned to Berrypaw still very annoyed for her words even if she was right and he was no reason to feel this way, but that's just who he was, he hated to be ordered around or asking to do thinks he could do later or whenever he felt like it "sent you to Starclan? well it didn't so why whining?" he meowed to her. He looked at Meadowpaw for a moment noticing how she was agreeing with Berrypaw "Go for it, throw my nest away if you dare to touch it, it may send you to Starclan for real if you get too close" he meowed with a laugh. He then looked at her with a smirk "But don't think I can't do that very same to your fresh flower smelling nest" he meowed to her with a quick wink.

“Of course, do take your apprentice with,” Whisperstep paused. “Speaking of her, how is she coming along with training? She’s eight moons now; I know she was a kitty pet not long ago but she sure has a fiesty fight in her.” The orange tabby purred, Berrypaw reminded her of when she was a young apprentice.

Berrypaw’s eyes glared into Smudgepaw’s before she stormed over to his nest, gagging as she grabbed it. She quickly threw it out of the den and looked over at the tom. “You touch my nest, you’ll be getting close to Starclan!” She hissed, she didn’t truly mean that but definitely was trying to intimidate him. “I’d love to see you try,” She growled. She looked over at Meadowpaw for a moment before glaring into the tom’s eyes once more. “In fact,” She paused. “Why don’t we try training right now on the matter?”

Burnshadow slipped out of the warriors den silently, careful to not wake up any other cat sleeping in the den. The warrior yawned as he emerged and stopped a few paces after leaving the den. He glanced around to see which cats were out. A shame we're down in numbers now. He thought with frustration, flicking his ear in dismay.

"Thank you, Leafbranch and I will get to that. I'm just going to greet, Cricketpaw." Thunderpaw meowed, dipping his head respectfully to his mentor as a quick farewell before he would proceed to turn around to pad away. Cricketpaw's scent caught his attention a bit into his conversation with Leafbranch when it seeped into his nostrils; it made him happy to differentiate her scent more easily compared to the other cats in the clan. He grew anxious to go and greet his close friend, the only friend he truly felt he bonded somehow as he took the path of a medicine cat. Something he was truly grateful for.

On his way to greet the black she-cat he couldn't help notice the other apprentices and he stopped not too far away from them to watch the scene forming between the three. Smudgepaw, Meadowpaw and Berrypaw. The large fluffy orange tom watched as their conversing seem to gradually grow a bit aggressive. Is this how it usually is between them? He couldn't help but wonder as he kept watching, trying to figure out how this would end up. Yet it didn't take long until he couldn't just watch anymore. "Hey now guys, maybe we should all calm down! What do you all say?" Thunderpaw exclaimed as he rushed to stand in between the tom and the two girls, glancing from one cat to the next.

Eyes still bleary from the rising sun, a sour taste hovered in the cavity of her nostrils as Smudgepaw passed by the smaller dark apprentice. Having never particularly liked the older apprentice with his satiny way of speaking, the same could be said for the others. Thunderpaw was the only exception to the rule. Warrior apprentices held something that she never could; a kinship with one another. Cricketpaw was simply an outsider to a world which she would never belong to. Yet, she was contented with that. Acknowledge with a hello from both Berrypaw and Meadowpaw, the best the scanty apprentice could do was give them a nod in thanks. Decent enough to concede that she exists unlike the grey tabby apprentice a muted growl filled her lungs as Smudgepaw spoke, soon after stiffled by an excited purr. Berrypaw's outburst had definitely brought a bit of excitment to the ususally tense and lifeless apprentice den. Voice coated in irritation it was odd to see such a quiet and privated cat like Berrypaw snap for once. As their back and forth continued, Cricketpaw could almost taste the first drop of violence, likely, there would be a fight that would end poorly if neither of them yielded to the other. Maybe the pair of them would be sentanced to the petty task of cleaning all the nests or picking the fleas off the sickest of the sick. Wouldn't that be a treat? In the spur of the moment, Thundepaw's perfumed leafy scent caught her attention. The only cat she could truly stand or care about, Cricketpaw was more than grateful that Thunderpaw's path was safe in that of a Medicine Cat. Not needing to go through the bloodshed of battle or the pain of a border patrol he would live a long life as long as Starclan protected him. As the peacekeeper he was though, Thunderpaw set in his own resolution to such a stupid fight. "Don't waste your energy." The dark furred apprentice meowed to her friend, worried that he would be caught in the middle of thier childish brawl. "Tabbies don't change their stripes."

Thunderpaw's blue orbs was continuously darting from Berrypaw to Smudgepaw up until Cricketpaw voiced her opinion in the matter at paw, glancing quickly at the she-cat from where he was standing. Cricketpaw was right, he was well aware of that, they shared the same opinion. So why is it that the medicine cat apprentice stepped in? Is it because this was the perfect opportunity to seize to accomplish something as a cat in his role, even if it was merely playing peace keeper? No. That wasn't it, it didn't feel like it was, at least not the entire reason. Why did I even bother getting myself involved? Why am I wasting my energy? If I had been a warrior apprentice, would I still deem fit to be here? Or would I be on the side lines? Thunderpaw was conflicted with his thoughts, but his face gave no emotion away nor gave any detail to his personal concerns. From the behavior the two apprentices were showing you'd think that they were all fresh out the nursery, but then Thunderpaw figured things like this were bound to happen. He sighed then mouthed 'sorry' towards Cricketpaw. He knew he should've just walked away to her side, so why didn't he? "I don't know what happened here, but I am sure there was a better way to go about this." The large orange tom stated, this time the tone in his voice much more deeper.

With a sigh, Thunderpaw's expression saddened her. Compared to the rest of them he was isolated from his fellow apprentices, devout to his clan but always seperated from the relationships and interwoven connections that most warriors her. Though it wasn't right to do, she pittied him, as if he was a lost kit who had been scolded. Nevertheless it was his burden to pursue; Thunderpaw's role was just as important as any warrior, it was wrong of her to think otherwise. Without an exact way to tell him 'it's alright' without showing weakness, a soft side breaking through her cold and prickly demeanor, the smaller she-cat rested the tip of her tail on her friends shoulder; the closest thing to comfort that any cat would get from Cricketpaw besides a few wise words of praise. "Bees in their brains I tell you, I doubt Crescentstar or Whisperstep would be glad to see them bickering over dirty nests." With a snort of annoyance, she turned her face away from the direction of the three other apprentices, muttering under her breath to her close friend as she kept her ears pricked for any warriors passing by. "Smudgepaw thinks he's better then the rest of us because Whisperstep is his mentor and Berrypaw isn't even clan born. You can't make a warrior out of an outsider." Taught to be prejudice against those who lacked clan blood rather than a cat who accepted her clan mates no matter who they may have been, she was certain that she'd get into trouble no matter if whoever overheard agreed or not. Berrypaw was a clan mate, but that wouldn't stop Cricketpaw from expressing her opinion, no matter how exclusionary it may have been.

She nodded to the deputy's questions "yes, Berrypaw's training is doing great, she is very fast to learn and took her training somewhat seriously, well of course she has still a long way to go, before getting her warrior name" she meowed to her. She looked toward the apprentice's den, seeing how Berrypaw took a nest out of the den, and noticed the rising tensions between the apprentice "O-ou? I see some problems coming..." she meowed with a sight.

She gave her apprentice a nod then looked after him for a moment as he walked to the apprentice's den, which seemed to have some problems in here. Sighing she hoped that they could not get into a fight, so she didn't need to waste her herbs for their wounds. She took her used moss and carried them to the walls of the dirt place there was a place where most of the used moss was taken at. shaking her head she then got out of the camp, usual she could as some of the warriors to join her, but the good moss place she knew was not far, so she could go there by herself too.

He only watched as the she-cat took his nest out of the apprentice's den, smiling as he saw the effecting the stinky nest of his was doing on the she-cat 'wow, that's sure was effective...' he thought almost proud of himself. He flicked his ears over at Berrypaw's offer "training? with you? hah! sorry sweetheart I don't practice with kits" he meowed lifting his tail. He turned to Thunderpaw there "don't waste your time to save the day" he meowed to him, but not in a mean way, he didn't have any interest to get into arguments with the medicine cat apprentice, but he did overhead what Cricketpaw said to the Thunderpaw "excuse me, I don't remember ever saying to be better just because my mentor is the deputy, I don't even care which rank my mentor is and judging Berrypaw because she is not clan born?" he hissed at her "Just you see that not clan born Berrypaw will be hundred times better than you ever will become" he keeps meowing to her annoyed.
