Summer walked through the woods with her tail perked in the air. The bubbly she cat leapt into the air to grab a bird. She swiftly killed the little bird and said with a playful smile, “No prey is safe from me.” She was 17 moons old, an adult for that matter, and yet she acted like a kit. Her longtime two month old brother, Finn, grew lost from her after there mother left them. She kept searching, but it was no use for her matter. She tore into the bird and the let the meat warm her. It tasted so good. She wished her brother was here with her. She shrugged and thought, I’ll find him someday.

Jay bent his head to sniff at the scent lines, wrinkling his nose. They meant nothing to him, they shouldn’t have been there, in his own opinion. He stepped over the territory line, senses alert in search of food. He scented bird, but when he followed it, he found a ginger she-cat with a very fresh catch. ”Hello there.” Perhaps he could convince her to share. He hadn’t managed to find prey the previous day, and he was hungry.

Jay smiled, tucking his tail around his paws. ”My name’s Jay. Nice catch.” Hopefully he wasn’t being too forward. It had been a while since he had crossed another cat. “Mind sharing?” The young tom’s tail twitched nervously as he awaited a reply.

the tom cat was awoken by the pawsteps of a fellow warrior. he opened his eyes blue eyes and his saw his sister attempting to quietly exit the warrior den, but ultimately failing. he let out a sigh and snuck out behind her. "you should really work on your sneaking around," he chuckled to eaglecall. "pretty sure you woke everyone in the camp up with those heavy steps of yours," he added with a smirk.

he shrugged his shoulders as she exited the camp. "maybe when you get back we can share some prey!" he called out to her, hoping she had heard because he tried not to wake any of the other cats by being too loud. he took in a deep breath and let the cold air bathe his lungs. he let out a small cough from the frosty air and decided to wait until eaglecall returned or to see if he was assigned to any patrols.

the long-haired calico was awoken when the morning sun began to peak through the entrance to the den. she quietly stood up and shook out her pelt, hoping none of the debris hit any of her denmates. she quietly placed her paws in open areas as to not wake any of her fellow warriors. she finally made it out of the den without stepping on a stray tail or paw. petalbrook took in a long, deep, breath and let the sun wash over her pelt. the warrior let out a purr of happiness and opened her eyes to see who was all awake. she was hoping that she would catch the familiar pelt of her apprentice, puffinpaw, but she did not.

a few moments later, petalbrook decided to grab a small prey to fill her growing stomach. she saw mountainhowl and decided to see if she would like to share a piece of prey with her. "good morning, mountainhowl," the calico said, her voice sounding as sweet as honey. "I was going to eat some prey but I was wondering if you would like to share some with me?" she asked, a purr playing in the back of her throat. "I saw you caught some prey but did not get some food for yourself," she meowed.

the older apprentice stretched in her nest before briskly exiting, not caring if she stepped on a paw or tail. the orange warrior looked around and let out an excited purr as she noticed her mentor, sparksnow, was awake. she padded over to him but noticed he was talking to northwind. she dipped her head, respectively, to both warriors. "good morning, sparksnow and northwind," she mewed happily. she hoped in the back of her mind that she was not interrupting an important conversation because she desperately wanted to get right into her training for the day.

He licked his chest and front paws, as he listened to the other tom "well I think being bored in the mornings is better than being too busy, it's not fun either, so let's just enjoy the boredom as long we're needed somewhere else" he meowed to him. He then looked at Lynxpaw "speaking of works...good morning Lynxpaw, you managed to get up too?" he meowed with a playful grim.

She was up already, she was planning to get out for a hunt, but someone in her head told her that she better stay in camp and wait for others to wake up and likely some patrols being organized. So she did find a small comfortable place in the camp, there was a little spot almost without any snow on it and it was placed there where she could not be in anyone's way. She watched there as the cats come out of their dens and some of them started to make conversations with others, there were even a few apprentices up already.

She gave her mentor a smile "Oh I see, well then okay...just promise me to take care of your health as well, eat, drink and sleep as much you can, okay dear?" she meowed to him. She didn't want to overstress him, which was pretty common for fathers, which take care and want to be sure the kits and their mate are doing fine.

He looked at the rabbit once again "I see well then someone did do a great job catching this" he meowed looking back at his father "are you done nay warriors tasks yet today? when will the patrols be sent out?" he meowed nodding to his other question "I did sleep fine and I think Owlkit and Dreamkit are sleeping even better, there not awaken yet" he keeps meowing.

Oakwater heard his name and he flicked his tail. He turned around to see Hailstep and he said, “Good morning Hailstep.” He saw Fangkit streak out of the nursery and run to him. Though he was no father to the young kit and certainly wouldn’t be able to ever be mates with Lightningstorm, there was a feeling of longing for his mother. He said with a smile as he ruffled his head fur, “I brought prey to your mother if your hungry.” As the young kit ran off he turned his attention back to Hailstep and he said, “Sorry about that. I brought prey to Lightningstorm this morning and I guess he was coming to thank me. I don’t really know to be honest.”

Dipping her head politely at the arrival of another warrior, she flicked her ear to acknowledge her for a moment before speaking. “Good morning, Petalbrook. I appreciate the offer, but no thank you.” She wasn’t exactly one to eat much in the morning after all, and despite how the other warrior was younger than her, Mountainhowl had always liked how she was much kinder than she herself was. That, and she still wasn't exactly close to any cat of the clan even after having spent longer here than anywhere else.
