Thundermint smiled at her kits. They had just been born.

[Dia.]

Rose slipped under the dumpster and into their little 'camp.' She dropped a small mouse at the new queen's muzzle, "I'm not that great at the whole hunting thing yet, sorry. If you want I could go try to get more..." She looked at the kits.

Thundermint looked up. "Its fine."

((Mine were Autumnkit and Whitekit.))

Rose stuck out her chest stubburnly, "I'm going to get you more." She slunk out of the room, out from under the dumpster, and into the alley way. Scenting the air, she padded out onto the sidewalk and towards the park. Almost at once, she spotted the pigeon pecking my the curb of the street. Against her better judgement, she stalked between the legs of twolegs and pounced. She landed a bit short of the pigeon and it took off. "Oh no you dont!" She leapt into the air, caught the pigeon by the wing and brought it down before killing it quickly. A car's horn brought her back to her head and she saw the car coming towards her. She picked up her prize and ran off of the street.

Once again, she slipped under the dumpster and put the pigeon at Thundermint's muzzle, "I got something better. It nearly cost me my life, but I got something better." She sat down and started to groom.

Thundermint smiled. She gobbled down the pigeon.

Rose smiled and looked at the kits, "What will you name them? You probably want to call them a clan cat name... like with the word kit at the end, but if we send them to the clan with that name, they will think that they are up to something. Do you think we should call them just the first half of the name?"

Thundermint nodded. "Yeah." She looked at her kits, trying to decide what to name them.
