[Lunar Paradox]

Ocean took a deep breath and entered into the shadows. The darkness swirled around her and she kept close to Shadow as they ran. She could still hear the noise of the huge thing,but it seemed to be getting farther away.

Shadow kept the shadows around them until he couldn't hear the thing anymore, he shook his head and let the shadows melt away. "What was that thing!"

Ocean shivered slightly. "I don't know. It was so strange!" she said. Her eyes widened. "What about Angel? It could be heading her way,we need to warn her!"

Shadow shook his head, "she'll be fine, thats one other thing. She can see into the future so she's probably on our way to us now." he said calmly.

Angel, as if on cue suddenly saw a loud monster and her brother and Ocean runnning away. Her golden eyes flashed and the small vision was gone, her mind was buzzing but she took off into the trees, rocognizing the path they had run down.

Ocean stood very still,hoping that the thing had left. She could still hear it faintly in the distance. I hope it didn't see my wings,or Shadow's horn, she thought. I wonder why it smelled like men? "Maybe it's a creature that the humans tamed,and they ride it!"she said aloud.

Shadow frowned, "great, but it didn't look like alive. or breathing." he said and turned as Angel came up to them.
Angel pushed by a bush and looked at Ocean and Shadow, "I-i saw it!"

Looking at Angel,Ocean said "We can't figure out what it was. We'll need to be on the alert from now on in case it comes back."

Shadow nodded, "it better not come back." he said and stomped a hoof.

Angel frowned, "i hope it doesn't" she said agreeing with her brother.

Ocean nodded and and shook her mane.She was hot and sweaty after running so she headed over to the stream."I'm going to get a drink." She lowered her head halfway and brought the water up the rest of the way to her mouth.

Shadow yawned and shook himself, "I'm tired, I'm going to take a nap hopefully that thing doesn't get me in my sleep." he teased then trotted off.
