She nodded politely to the medicine cat, feeling a bit nostalgic for the days when the two could actually have a longer conversation. Why exactly had that stopped? “Of course.” The pride in her gaze was most likely obvious when she looked over at the smaller cat at her side, staying quiet to let Shimmerpaw answer her herself. Despite her having basically raised herself, Shimmerpaw still called her mama and needless to say, Peachstar loved her daughter dearly.

As the two shared the rabbit, he realizes that he doesn't really know all that much about the queen as well as the fact he'd like to get to know her more. “ I think we should do this again.” Webcloud offered, slightly nervous in case the last thing she wanted was to speak with him again. But he wasn't that bad, right?

Raising a nonexistent brow as she spoke, he shook his head before yawning. it had already been four moons of training with her, but he hadn't been able to get her from feeling so anxious so much. "Don't apologize. And yes, we have battle training today. I'll be fine." Perhaps he could speak with another mentor about group training, but for today, it would have to wait. As for eating that morning, he would be alright with not eating until later. He didn't like to eat much until he'd felt he earned it after all.

Creamflower eats the rabbit with Webcloud for a while and realizes there is probably more to the tom than what she knows. I want to get to know him more. she thought. Upon hearing his suggestion of doing this again, she nods with a smile. "I agree!" she said.

Giving a brief glance around the camp, his apprentice was nowhere to be found and he had come up with a great idea, or at least in his opinion. “Then who says it has to stop?” He suggested, doing a quick stretch before finally standing on his paws again. "What I mean is, um, Stormtuft seems busy, would you like to do a border patrol with me?" His smoothness apparently only lasting for a few seconds.

before landing back on Amberpaw. "Oh, I'm doing good. Just waiting." He meowed. "Mentors sure
take forever some days." He huffed. Maybe he'd get a day off training, something he wouldn't mind.
"So, what'dyou wanna do today? I'd like some time off training. I saw a few frogs around and thought
I might be able to catch one. Then I'd put it in someone's nest. Something fun." He meowed.

Creamflower listens to Webcloud's question and nods, deciding it would be fun to do it with the tom. "Sure!" she said happily. "Like you said it doesn't have to stop! Lead the way!" She gets up after swallowing the last bite of the rabbit and licks her lips, happy to have a full stomach.

Batpaw lazily opened her eyes, slowly taking in the blurry sight of the wall above her den as she yawned. She purred lightly, curling into her paws for a moment of silence, enjoying the warmth of her nest, before this was interrupted by the cutting realization of the time of which it was. Batpaw's eyes slammed open and she leapt clumsily to her paws, racing out of the den and nearly tripping on herself. Her eyes scanned the clearing in panic, not knowing how late she slept in, but knowing it was far, far too long. She thankfully caught sight of her mentor at the fresh kill pile talking to Creamflower, but they seemed to get up and Batpaw mentally cursed herself out for making her mentor wait. The short apprentice ran up tiredly to the pair, panting, but there. "Go-Good morning..I'm awake, I- I'm here." She panted out, awkwardly smiling, her eyes barely open yet.

"Oh, it is-" Cherrypaw said as seriously as she could, taking a dramatic pause in between her words before continuing. "-I'm bored." She said flatly, letting her grin spread ear and ear and laughing a bit. She liked when Reedpaw was free, because he was always there when she wanted to find some fun, and she thought if she spent another moment in her nest she'd scream from boredom.
Her tail swished behind her as she continued, the grin not leaving her muzzle. "There's a really fat rabbit in the prey pile right now, and I say winner of a little fight should claim the prize," She suggested, looking at him expectantly and smiling deviously. "That is.. if you aren't scared you'll lose." She purred, eyes closed and a confident look passing across her face. After a moment, she opened one eye, just to check if her taunting was working.

When Milkkit tackled him over right back, he flailed his little legs under her, trying to scramble out for the sake of his pride, laughing still. "If you want a fight we can have one." He threatened jokingly. He was big for a kit his size, and Milkkit was shorter than other kits her age, so they almost evened out their size differences, but Milkkit still had the edge on him for now, being 2 moons older. It didn't stop him from always trying to take her head on in play fights though, and a big devious smile spread on his muzzle and he used all of his might to push Milkkit forward, making them both tumble over on their sides. He hopped up, getting into the fighting position he watched apprentices train in, waiting for Milkkit. He had the most fun messing around with Milkkit and he considered her his best friend in the nursery, but at this moment, all he wanted was to win this fight.

"Well.." He started, his voice low and his eyes shifting around, almost scared to make eye contact, as if such an action would make this more real than he'd like it to be. "I-I've been struggling to keep what I eat down. It..It's been coming back up as blood." He said gravely, nervousness breaking his tone as he finally looked at the medicine cat. "I'm not sure what's wrong with me. I've lost weight, I'm tired, and eating isn't fun. It started about a moon ago, but I've been hoping it would go away..but.." He trailed off, his tail drooping low to the ground along with his eyes. "Maybe you have some herbs that could help..? Maybe even just something to ease my stomach pain?" He asked, desperation seeping into his tone. He never came across this way, and felt pathetic in front of Duskwhisker, but he knew he needed help. He nervously looked around to make sure Batpaw didn't notice him.

Ebony's gaze stays affixed to the tom, her eyes tracking his movements down the tree. Her eyes narrow slightly, now able to observe the tom more closely. He was massive. She could easily be mistaken for an apprentice in his presence, as if she wasn't already small. She wondered, if it ever came down to it, if she could best him in a fight. She hoped she would not have to find out. "I dunno... Annoying a clan cat or two... Disturbing the peace..." Ebony responds, listing off some of her own "hobbies".

He gave the she-cat a smile "thank you, that sounds great" he meowed to her, then gave a look around for his apprentice Snailpaw. He could go and take her with them too, but he has not seen the younger cat yet and he didn't want to wait for all days for her, maybe he will take her out later "Shall we go then?" he meowed.

He almost couldn't stop the small smile from growing onto his face, about to leave the camp with Creamflower when his apprentice had come racing out of the apprentice den, feeling a twinge of pity for Batpaw. “ Good morning Batpaw. How does a border patrol sound?” He brought up, much more sure of himself as a mentor than when he was simply talking to Creamflower.

Creamflower hears pounding of paws and turns her head to see it was none other than Batpaw, Webcloud's apprentice. She sees the young she-cat was exhausted after rushing to catch up to her mentor and realizes she must have woken up late, sympathy filling her heart. Upon hearing Webcloud inviting the apprentice to join a patrol, she nods. "Absolutely!" she said. "Batpaw you can come with us!"
