The wolf sighed at looked at the trio of friends.

(Sorry I took so long but this is a long story I had to think up.)

“My name is Lupus. I once belonged to a pack called the Howling Moon Pack.

My mother and father were the Alphas of the pack. My mother was called Sparkle. She was the most beautiful wolf of us all. She was pure white and always sparkled in the moonlight. She always took care of the pups of the pack. She was gentle, yet firm. My father was called Bloodmoon. He was jet black with a red crescent on his forehead, a torn ear and scars everywhere. He was a warrior and hunter as well as an Alpha. You might know him if you see him.

I had 3 siblings. My brothers were called Diablo and Fang. Diablo was stronger than any of us and Fang had a habit of biting. They were always together. My sister was called Dreamer. She was always daydreaming and had visions. Some were serious, some were not.

I was runt of the litter. Much of my pack didn’t like me very much. I loved exploring and sometimes got into trouble. I also liked hanging around with my father, learning how to be an Alpha, for when I start my own pack.

Well anyway, I was out exploring and out of nowhere, a giant paw scratched me across my eye. The thing with the giant paw was about to kill me. My mother raced to save me. She fought a long battle with this thing - my father was hunting – but she was losing. I hid.

The last I saw of my mother, she was lying completely still. I tried waking her up, but she never opened her eyes.” Tears formed in Lupus’s eyes. “When I went back to my pack, someone was already taking care of my brothers and sister. No-one wanted me at all. So I wandered off and became a loner.” Lupus started crying and howled mournfully.
