I raised my hand. "I've heard they're really effective against water types!". I heard they were effective against rock, but I didn't know if that was true.

Cole raised his hand, and upon his being called on, he added, "Steel types are resistant but not super-effective against Grass types. The same goes for Dragon types, and Grass types themselves." Okay, that was good... he didn't know if those counted, or if that was even the question being asked, but he had answered a question! Was it showoff-ish to bring up resistances specifically? At this point his mind was brewing way too many thoughts.

"Very good!"" Baker said to Azazel, writing "water rock ground" onto the board. "Right you are miss Sakura." he said. "You're also correct, Cole!"

Aysel hurried to write everything said down. She didn't even bother to raise her hand anymore, her classmates had the answers handled.

"Resistant to grass" Baker wrote on the board followed by "steel" and "dragon". "Grass resists" he finished writing before he turned to to class, "this should be easy we already know a few. What does grass type restist?"

Hearing the question, Voltsy raised his hand. "Electric types." he answered, actually being right for once. He didn't think his tactic of just answering with his type would work out this soon. He threw his paper airplane, watching it barely fly.

"Grass aso resists ground, water, and grass itself," Azazel answered, eyes vaguely watching Voltsy's paper plane for its extremely brief flight. Type match ups were easy. "Grass pokemon are immune to moves based on powders or spores too, like rage powder or the ability 'effect spore'."

"Very good." Baker said, turning to the white board and writing the types down. "That's also true Azazel." he praised.

Aysel kept up her note keeping. The bell rang. She finished her notes before closing the book and placing it in her backpack.

"Alright kids, you did really well today. Tomorrow we'll learn about fire or water types. I know exciting." Baker said, waving his students good-bye.

Aysel picked up her pack, carrying it with one shoulder. She left her seat and headed out the door.

Voltsy didn't bother picking up his airplane from the floor. He grabbed his backpack and headed towards the door. "Hey." he awkwardly said to Aysel , stopping himself from bumping into her. He let her leave the room first, following after her and heading to the next classroom.

Azazel stood and grabbed his bag with a yawn, one hand moving to make sure his Litwick was steady as he headed for the door. The pokemon gave a soft trill, patting his hand with a stubby arm of her own before motioning wildly to the other students -- his best guess for what she meant was that she was demanding to be introduced to the others, apparently giving very little thought to the fact that they were in school and he had to wait until they had free time to really do that. He silenced her with a promise of "later" as he left the classroom and started for the next.

I left the classroom, letting my Bulbasaur walk in the halls to the next class. My Bulbasaur saw the students and came close to me, in a protective stance. "Bulb, I'm fine, chill out." My Bulbasaur saw the Litwick on Azazels shoulder and made a playful grunt.

"Wi! Li-li!" Azazel paused as Izanami started back up again, tugging on a lock of his hair and pointing to the ground. He frowned vaguely, but crouched down to allow the litwick to hop to the ground anyway. He realized why barely a second later as he followed her path to where one of the other student's pokemon was -- a bulbasaur. "Sorry. About her, I mean." He sighed softly as the litwick planted herself directly in front of the grass type and chirped a greeting at it.
