Oh, hello there! Welcome to the AlpineClan roleplay! I'm Fidgetlily, the host of this chat! Be sure to read all of this description before jumping in to the roleplay.

In this roleplay, more than half of the Clan was wiped out in an avalanche. All cats that come to the Clan either survived and just made their way back, or are from a Twolegplace at the bottom of the mountain.

-▸ Absolutely NO mating, detailed kitting, etc. Nothing 18+ or nsfw. {Level Red}

-▸ Be kind and respectful at all times. {Level Yellow}

-▸ No use of banned words will be tolerated. No swearing, and don't use words that require a warning first. If someone asks you to stop, do so. {Level Yellow}

-▸ This is a drama free zone. {Level Yellow}

-▸ Keep things realistic. This means no neon pelts, wings, horns, powers, etc. Use names they would know, not things like gem or glass. {Level Green}

-▸ No op ocs and give the other person a chance to respond before continuing. {Level Green}

-▸ All kits must have a parent/guardian. This means no rouge kits without a guardian in the Clan. {Level Green}

Feather Hazel (Witch Hazel) - Leaves and bark are good for inflammation, itching, bruises, Insect bites, minor burns
Peppermint -Leaves are good for Whitecough and kit cough
All other herbs from ThunderClan are used as well

Cat Terms
Cats use terms such as Eagle droppings plus all the normal ThunderClan terms

Cat Pelts
Browns and greys but can be tortoiseshell, ginger, or white. No yellows.

Territory

AlpineClan lives on the East side of a giant mountain (Based of the Canadian Rockies). It snows and has been known to avalanche in the winter. The lower half of the mountain is covered in pine trees and is were the camp is. The top half is bare rock covered in snow and is seldom used.

➏⁓ The Sheer Cliffs (A straight drop down the mountain. Kits are told scary stories about them)

Camp

The camp is in a large, peaty hollow in the ground surrounded thickly by pines and ferns. It is almost impenetrable aside from a tunnel leading into camp, making it easily defendable. Part of the hollow was hit by a rockslide making a huge pile of rock.

▢Dens▢

Leader's Den/Sky Pine

Half of a huge dead pine near the center of camp covered in moss, which form curtains over the entrance to the Leader's Den.

Medicine Cat Den

A hollow under the roots of a tree with enough room for five nests. The roots are good for storing herbs on like shelves.

Warriors' Den

A cave in the rocks blocked off by ferns which make it insulated. Other caves are used if there is no space left in the Den.

Apprentices' Den

A hole dug into the peat which is surrounded by ferns. Cozy but a little small.

Elders' Den

Three pines woven together with plants.

Nursery

The other half of Sky Pine. A log on its side with a hole in the middle.

Warrior Code (In case u need a refresher)
The warrior code is as follows:

1) Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
2) Elders, queens, sick or injured cats and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders.
3) Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
4) A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
5) Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
6) A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
7) The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires, or is exiled.
8) After the death, retirement, promotion (to a leader status), or exile of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
9) Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
10) No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger
11) The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.
12) An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win their battles, unless it is necessary for self-defense.
13) A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.
