" sun? sun! where do you get sun in a black forest? and there were rocks surroding the waterfall so were not in daypck territory..... so where are we?"

Black Devil shrugged and looked around, it was beautiful here though. "I don't know." he said, turning his head to look straight at Amethyst.

" it's weird it's nothing like where we live" she looked at him " want to go farther?"

[bonjour.]

Black Devil shrugged. "You want to?" he asked.

[m e o w]

" totally, lets go!" she said running but the ground sucked her front left paw in and she flipped but not hurt "what the?"

[bonjour.]

Black Devil lunged forward, he grasped Amethsyt's scruff and pulled her out. "We can't go that way, it must be, I don't know, quick sand or something. You okay?" he asked, gently cleaning the mud from her leg.

" yah i'm fine, what kind of ground does that? it felt like stone after it grabbed my leg!" she said " am i losing it?"
she said "here, lets climb those rocks and get a better view."

[bonjour.]

Black Devil smiled and shook his head. "No, your not losing it." he said and jumped up on the boulders, one fell out from under him and he tumbled back down, his body hitting the cave floor hard.

" are you ok?!" she said running to him

Black Devil's body lay limp on the cold stone under him. No reply came and his eyes were glazed over, he didn't hear Amethyst's question.
