Jiona closed her eyes simply ignoring the younger female for a time. When Diata was done yapping away, she spoke, tone bland. "It doesn't matter much for me. I have no need to be the queen. That game is for the younger and stronger." Opening her eyes her gaze narrowed in on Diata. "Though you are correct about one thing Diata, it might not have been family business. But it wasn't something I wanted or needed your help with, next please let me handle my own cubs. If I ever need assistance from someone like you, I'll be sure to find someone." She rolled her eyes as if she'd ever take advice from a less experienced lioness that hasn't even had a single litter of cubs yet. Turning her body away from the other lioness she began to groom her own fur, hoping to relax.

Eating his fill was a quick thing, and there was enough of the antelope left that it would probably last until the next morning. Something he greatly appreciated, even if it only lasted that long, it would still be worth it. Maybe. Heaving a sigh, he gripped the antelope carcass and started to drag it to his makeshift den. The massive skull of what looked like an elephant was were he made his home, and with no set territory, Badru didn't expect to be able to stay in his home for long. About halfway to his den the male dropped his kill to take a quick sniff of the air, hoping that he wouldn't catch the scent of anything or anyone else. He blinked as he caught the faint scent of another lone male in the air and frowned, but once again grabbed his kill and kept moving.
Nadira

A delighted growl rumbled in her throat, her toes curled her unusually long claws tapping on the hard stone that she rested her body upon. She wondered what the pride would be hunting today, her mind wandered as she spotted various zebra, antelope, and other herd animals that milled about the pridelands. Tail lashing about, she absently remembered the rumor of traces of strangers in the pridelands. Eyes narrowing the pale-furred female got to her paws, hopefully, no one would mind if she went to check out the usual places. The gorge, the watering hole, and a quick glance around the normal hunting grounds. Without much thought, Nadira started down from her little thinking spot, and down from pride rock down to the soft earthy ground. Not sure which way she wanted to go first, Nadira decided absently she satisfy her thirst while checking out the watering hole.

"I would willingly give up a nice cut of meat to see that." He snarked back, snickering softly. At her answer to where they would go, he let out a hum of contemplation. Thinking out loud he began to speak," Well, the Gorge seems a little boring, and I'm sure Scar might have my hide if I went there after it all it is where Mu-" He cut himself off, that name was not one to be said. Abasi shook his head. "Where you-know-who died, I really don't want to see a decaying body or two before dinner or risk a stamped." The male sat down giving his small bit of chest fluff a few licks before continuing. " The Elephant Graveyard or Water Hole seems like the best choice." He glanced in the two general directions of both locations, smiled then said," Let's go to the Elephant Graveyard, sound like a great time even if we don't find company." He stood, claws flexing with a small bout of excitement, hoping they'd run into a stranger there.
