(The roleplay takes place when Scar becomes the king in the movie before Simba's return.)
It is a new era where lion and hyena live together under the eyes of the tyrannical Scar. The past is buried underneath the bones of the lionesses that dare to protest against his reign. The leering gazes of the hyenas peer out from the shadows, waiting for their next feast whether it be lion, hyena, or a creature from the Pridelands. Their never-ending hunger seeps through the pride, making it harder and harder to please them as they get greedier and greedier. When a lioness refuses, they are reported to Scar. Lions and hyenas are always at eachother's necks with teeth bared. Some nights, hyenas and lions will go missing from the darkness of the night. And yet, Scar still demands that they work together. The lions and hyenas are both forced to sleep outside as Scar has made the den into his own personal cave for him and his three goons: Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed. Zazu now serves as a personal jester for the king as he has his own personal jail in Scar's den. The Pridelands are slowly deteriorating and falling apart within Scar's claws as he demands respect and flashes his authority with his overbearing stares, and all the lionesses can do is weep.
While everything is occurring, Scar is simply a tyrannical leader. Anyone who challenges him is struct down. Corruption reigns over the Pride as he favors the hyenas over the lions. He makes sure that everyone is well aware of his presence and status. His queen still remains to be unnamed. However, he has since mated with a few lionesses and they have produced his cubs. He isn't the best father. However, he is desperately trying in his own way to become a good king. Even though he has been corrupted by the hyenas, he is doing his best. He is hoping, along with the lionesses that accept him, that having cubs would help with his image overall.
Each lioness and hyena has differing opinions on whether or not he is a good leader or not. Views of him range from being selfish to superb. That all depends on the creature at hand. Some hyenas believe the same as the lionesses while others pretend to agree before running off to tell Scar. Rumors are spreading throughout Pride Rock about whether or not be murdered his own family so that he may assume the throne himself.
Pride Laws

1.) You must obey all of Scar's orders.
2.) Do not question Scar.
3.) Do not challenge Scar.
4.) Do not defy Scar.
5.) Do not disobey Scar.
6.) All lionesses must hunt for the hyenas, but hyenas may join in. (Mothers Excused)
7.) All hyenas eat before lionesses.
8.) No speaking of his brother nor his nephew.
9.) No lions may hurt a hyena and vice vera.
10.) Scar's cubs must not be harmed and must be protected at ALL times.
11.) Scar, his queen (if he has one), and his cubs must eat first.
12.) No romances other than with Scar (hyenas not included).
13.) Whatever Scar says is law.
14.) If exiled, you are not allowed to return to the Pridelands.
15.) Anyone that was exiled and is found in the Pridelands must be chased out or killed.
16.) No one is allowed to mate with an exiled.
17.) Jesters and other low ranking forms are not allowed to have mates.
