Moonpaw was glad that she wasn't alone in her mistake. Though she was surprised that the nimble Ravenleaf had done the same thing! Maybe someday, she would become as nimble as her mentor! She got ready to try again when Ravenleaf ran off and sniffed a bush. Then a paw flew out and wacked her on the head!

Moonpaw let out a loud hiss and sprang towards the bush. She had her claws unsheathed and was prepared to destroy her attacker! Then a cat stepped out. She hissed at Moonpaw and then put out a clawed paw. Then the cat chuckled.

Without thinking, Moonpaw lunged at her with claws and fangs bared. She wanted to make the cat pay for hurting her mentor!

A small squeak came from the brown kit. She yelled "Stop!! If u put even a claw on me or touch my kits ur dead." She hissed at the apprentice and ducked as she lunged towards her. Lily stood up and stared blankly at the ground. She noticed the black cat stating to wake after being unconcious.

Moonpaw stopped suddenly in her attack when she heard the loner call out. She heard a squeak come from the bush. There must be kits in there! She looked past the hissing loner towards the bush. She growled loud at the loner with her fur spiking up in all directions. Her tail lashed the soft ground as she bared her fangs again.
"Like a loner could harm ME, an apprentice! I'm going to a warrior! And the strongest warrior too! You are on our territory, so leave or I WILL MAKE YOU!"

"Hold on Moonpaw," Ravenleaf said as she stood up. She turned to Lily and said, "We can give u shelter until ur kits r strong enough to walk on their own."

Lily glared at both of them and especially the apprentice or whatever she was. Lily sighed and said with an attitude, "Fine, but only until my kits r strong enough to walk long distances." She licked little Preston and he mewed and she also licked Fern and she didn't mew. She looked at little Preston's eyes and they were ice amber eyes and Fern's was a soft gray and blueish color.

Moonpaw looked at Ravenleaf with surprise. But this cat had knocked her out! Didn't she want to drive the loner out? Then the loner agreed with staying! "But if she is in the nursery, she won't be able to contribute to the Clan!" Moonpaw trotted towards the kits and peered at them closely. "They are so young! Don't you have a mate to take care of them?"

She hissed a little as the apprentice came towards her kits. "I don't have a mate. Stop being noisy," Lily replied, although she did feel a little bad for the apprentice that was dealing with her rudeness, but she didn't like the clan cats and she tried attacking her. All she wanted was to keep herself and her kits safe. Even though she hated the Clan cats, it was nice that the cat told her she can stay. Lily said, "I'll try contributing to the Clan if it means cleaning dens and whatever u clan cats do."

She said, "Moonpaw, one of the most important things of being a Clan cat is if u see any loner, kittypet, or rouge who has kits or is going to be having kits, offer them help or a home. I know its hard trusting someone who hurt u or is very rude like that she-cat over their, but I know, if she doesn't have help, her kits might die from things in the wild. I know you'll be a great warrior someday with the passion and spirit u have, but trust me on this. If she is doing something wrong, of course we'll kick her out." Ravenleaf put her paw on the apprentice's paw.

Preston squeaked as his mother licked him. He heard his mother hiss and squeaked as he smelled a new cat. He thought, who is this new cat? why is my mommy hissing? Preston squeaked, "Mo...Mom...Momm....Mommy?"

Moonpaw still looked skeptical, but agreed anways. "I guess you are right. I am still learning." She dipped her head in embarrassment and flicked her tail in an "okay" gesture. The Clan had taken her in, so she could give the loner a chance. "What is your name?" She looked towards the brown kit. "And what is its name?" She pointed at the kit.

Lily sighed and said, "I have two kits actually. I'm Lily and this brown kit is Preston and the tortoiseshell kit is Fern. I'll carry both of them because I'm still skeptical of u two."
