Still trembling from the events that just occured, Frecklekit leaned into Preston and licked his cheek. "I'm fine, thanks to you... and no thanks to your mother." She sat up stiffly and said "Maybe it would be best to meet at night instead of the middle of the day next time. How about Moonhigh tonight?"

"So like jumping fence to fence. Fences are made out of trees without bark so basically they are dead trees." Cedar lept up onto the tree and dissapeared through the leaves. Suddenly he dropped close to Emberstar and, pretending the ground was an enemy, churned his back legs befor leaping off in a defensive position. "How was that?" He asked.

Mossykit looked at her sister and Preston talking and obviously blushing. She felt fire burning inside her. Jealousy, that was the sensation. She was jealous that her sister was in love when she could never even think about it. Depressed and tired, she curled up and took a nap.

Following Emberstar's instructions, Cedar climbed a large beech tree and crept, wobbly at first, to the branches of a nearby tree. Then he climbed into another and another. Finally, He jumped down and asked, "How was that?"

He saw Mossykit staring at Frecklekit and Preston and walked over and said mockingly, "To bad for u. What jealous because ur sister is talking to ur bpoyfriendx?" She laughed and walked away just as Preston was coming over.

Preston walked away to see Mossykit staring at him. He waved at her and he could see jealouy in her eyes and his pelt burned as her gaze kept following in. He saw her rush into the nursery and he ssaw her taking a nap. He sighed and said, "If only she knew the truth before Frecklekit and I."

Moonlight laughed. "Well what do you think? 'Do I live here?' Yes!'' She fell on the ground laughing. "Anyways, forest cats? Bet their rabid. Good luck staying alive," She said. Moonlight stood up and shook her coat, then sat back down and looked deep into Nectarshade's eyes. She could tell that Nectarshade liked her in a way that was more than friends.
