Sunnypaw happened to still be sleeping, having a terribly bad dream. It was the usual, she shook herself awake. Is it sun-up already? she thought. It was. The sun had crept into the apprentices’ den, and she scrambled to get up and ready. Her coat was randomly shifting, as it always did when she was being scatter-brained. She finally saw her mentor, and jumped. “Sorry, Lotusdream!” Meowed Sunnypaw to him, and then darted out of the apprentices’ den, “I-I’m ready now. Again, sorry for the wait.” Her voice was hard but soft, and quiet. Sunnypaw was to Lotusdream’s left, and finally was ready to start the day. I can’t believe I slept in! Ugh. The sun is too bright. She blinked after staring at the sun for a while, and then Sunnypaw’s gaze looked back to her mentor, Lotusdream.

Sheepfeather awoke reluctantly that morning, somewhat disappointed he'd have to go on another day. Once upon a time this would be a blessing, and he'd seize his power and face the day - now it was just another disappointing day full of cowering and trying to find his way to starclan. He couldn't be mad - he put himself in this position - but that didn't mean he had to like it. No, he'd much rather go on his own, and let his soul find it's way to starclan, but he wasn't ready to be a 'coward' just yet.

Pantherclaw's jaws parted in a huge yawn, his pink tongue curling and teeth flashing in the sun streaming through the den's entrance. He allowed himself the small joy of stretching in the sunlight; it was a warm Greenleaf morning, an enjoyable one at that. He looked forward to hunting today. He got to his paws and wandered out of the den in to the camp, scanning it briefly to see if his apprentice had emerged yet. Upon seeing he hadn't, he sat and swiped his tongue over his maw, wondering to himself about the recent death of Sandstar. It didn't matter - if they ever tried to kill him, he'd be able to get out of there alive, he was sure. Maybe.

Oddeye had been awake for a little while now, stocking and cleaning his herb inventory since dawn. He didn't wish to sleep for too long - if he had, his apprentice likely would have done the job, and everything she did in his mind was wrong (even if it was done perfectly.) He counted up what they did and didn't have and made a mental list of what they'd need for the day.

Lotus'Dream open a single, brightly colored eye. After a pause, he opened the other and yawned, standing up. He looked around, stretching with his tail arced over his head. He eventually padded out into camp, smiling slightly like always. A new day, a new opputnity to grab power. However, he was aware others were cautious due to recent events. Therefore, he had to be careful as well. He sat down in a sunny patch, grooming himself with a quick tongue. He knew he should wake Sunny'Paw up, but in his opinion, that could wait. After all, his looks were more important to him.

Shade'Runner was laying in the shadiest section of camp, his tail flicking occasionally. He watched a beetle crawl across the ground, rather bored. He wasn't the type to seek out a patrol, but he wouldn't mind being assigned to one. He didn't trust his clan-mates one bit, and therefore would probably never lead a patrol, despite being capable of such a thing. He eventually reached out, and swatted the beetle onto its back. He watched it struggle, before putting his paw back under himself. He didn't feel like killing it, as there was no point.

He walked out of the warrior's den, tail hight and proud, not knowing why he felt that way, but he had a feeling like this day is going to be a good day. Shaking his pelt, as he relaxed his muscles and looked around the clan, mostly for Greenstar, but didn't really see his leader anywhere.

She was already at the camp, checking the fresh-kill pile, to see how much good prey there were still left, there was one fish which didn't look so good anymore and she wondered if it was eatable any longer. Fish don't last long so it was nothing new to see smelly and not so delicious-looking fish in the mornings, but for now, she didn't do anything, maybe someone likes little rotten fish.

Sighing he placed his paws over his face, opening his eyes once again, but his ears were still listening to the voices.

The small she-cat laid at the tree, the highest branch just a few steps outside of the camp, she could see the whole camp in here. She was born with great fear, she was never liked to be the center of attention, even if she mostly was when younger, now she mostly hid in this tree and got down only to eat, sleep, and something whatever she needed to do.

He was already up and just waiting for the rest of the clan to wake up or something to happen, he watched as his father showed up near the warrior's den, being proud of his father being a deputy and for him being the deputy's son. It's not like it really matters much, as being deputy apprentice could be much better and he does not get along with his father, his mother has warned him about him being a dangerous cat.

Greenstar woke up with a big yawn. He stretched out long, briefly flashing into a large wolf form. His power had been doing that for a little while now, even though it had still been a while since Sandstar's murder. He didn't understand why the murder wouldn't just reveal himself, show all their power. That's what he would do. He twitched his tail in irritation, what would he have to do this morning? Organize patrols? Maybe, if anyone even listened. He walked out and gazed at the cats awake. He had survived another night. Now he just had to get through the day.

His eyes always darted around watching but he felt he could barely move a paw. Would today even be beneficial? What was the point? He only got up when he realized he should probably train Maplepaw. What if somone murdered him for not doing his duty? Or Maplepaw got together some friends to murder him if he didn't train her? She wouldn't be able to fight him herself, but he didn't know if she had any friends! he got up and started at the day, hesitantly poking out of the den and into the center of camp. His least favorite place.

The small tabby lay curled close to his mother, kneading the ground with his paws as he slept. Little pricks of static snuck up through his legs, making his fur stand up, but they didn't disturb him in the slightest.

Rosebriar looked around the camp with curiosity. She wondered what everyone would be up to today. Maybe she'd get a chance to train with Nightpaw, but if not then she should find some other way to be useful. Spotting Snagtooth in the sun a mischievous idea began to blossom in her mind. She dropped into a hunting crouch and carefully made her way over to where he laid. When she was as close as she could get without being detected she gathered all her strength into a pounce! She flew through the air as a streak of russet fur and batted with sheathed claws at Snagtooth's exposed belly.

She left the fresh-kill pile, picking some mouse, and made her way to the elder's den, she was not close with the Sheepfeather but had nothing against him either. She herself thought elders are as important as anyone elsewhere and find it cruel to hunt them down, just because being seen weak, they were not. Sighing she took the mouse to the elder's den not getting inside of it, but enough the elder to see her "Good morning Sheepfeather? I hope you had great night, I took you some breakfast...if you're hungry..." she meowed to him then got little silent "It's not poisoned, I took it onto the pile...and it smells normal" she meowed to him.

He watched the camp wondering what he could do now, seeing Nightpaw there talking with the leader, it didn't really bother him as he didn't get along with the weird tom. He felt him somewhat wicked, which was nothing new in this cursed clan, but he wanted a normal life and tried to be as normal he could be, he was never killed anyone and could never kill if not self-defense.

Nightpaw bit his tongue and resisted the urge to snap at the deputy. Anger will get me nowhere. I want to be on his side. He reasoned to himself. Instead he laid his ears back and looked up at Snakekiller sheepishly. "Ah! Well I guess so, but I haven't seen Thornclaw yet and Greenstar was right here so..." He trailed off and gave the two cats an embarrassed grin. "I can go find him if you want me to!"
