Light BeyondThe Dark

Come kits and listen to the story of how Dark Clan and Lightning Clan came to be. Lightning Clan used to be the only clan this area. So peaceful, so strong. Then Deadleaf, a treacherous scheming warrior, was chosen as Oatstars deputy. Deadleaf had been plotting since he became a warrior on how to become leader. He would lure the innocent to their demise. Eventually Oatstar was on his last life and rogues were threatening the territory. Oatstar led the attack on the rogues and Deadleaf took the opportunity to rid of the leader and take his place. Deadstar then changed the way the clan worked creating a group of warriors called the elite. The group were used as guards to the leader. Deadstar ran everything by his own laws breaking the warrior code often. This made his deputy, Nighttalon, upset. So she staged an uprising with her clanmates and they took back the clan. Nighttalon became leader and many feared she would turn into Deadstar as she was one of his most trusted advisers and they left. Those cats created Dark Clan. So what clan are you most like? Mysterious and masters of staying hidden like Lightning Clan? Or Friendlier and more skilled in hunting in the open like Dark Clan?

Roleplay Rules

//You may have as many characters as you like just please make sure they are active characters and not just fillers. I only have some exception to fillers but that will be discussed when the circumstance comes along

//Only one high rank per player within this roleplay it's self-explanatory but if you are in one rank and you get another character promoted due to legitimacy I will not expect the character to step down until there is reason to it.

//No powerplaying this one is a big one. A warrior can't win every battle

Warrior Code
1.Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
2.Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory. (no worries right now)
3.Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
4.Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
5.A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
6.Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
7.A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
8.The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires, or is exiled.
9.After the death, retirement, promotion (to a leader status), or exile of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
10.A Gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.
11.Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
12.No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.
13.The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.
14.An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win their battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.
15.A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.
16.Each Clan has the right to be proud and independent, but in times of trouble they must forget their boundaries and fight side by side to protect the four. Each Clan must help the others so that no Clan will fall.

Medicine Cat Code
Medicine cats may not have a mate or kits, as they must be able to heal all cats equally. -this rule will have leeway if the medicine cat steps down with a fully trained successor at an age that is not considered "old"

Lightning Clan
This clan resides within a dense forest. There's a couple of streams surrounding the bramble barriered camp and combine into a river that flows in both clans territories. This clan normally hunts forest prey with the occasional river prey. The Elders den and the nursery are within a log laying across the far end of camp. The medicine den is a large stone leaned against the log. The warrior and apprentice dens are vine and branch woven dens. The leaders den is a hole among the roots of an oak tree near the entrance of camp.

Dark Clan
This Clan resides on the moor. Parts of the territory have some tree covering and the river runs through the edge of the territory. Closer to the river there's parts of swamp terrain. This clan normally hunts moor and tunnel based prey with the occasional swamp lizards, frogs and the occasional rat. Their camp is within one of the groups of thinner trees with a heather barrier. Most dens are either woven heather or dug into the roots of the trees.
