On the island of Kowaii in a cave lives CinderClan, a small clan of cats. "When the Poppy births the Thorns and Ivy, Ash and Lava shall fill the stars" Poppystar has feared this prophecy since kithood and vowed to never have kits. Yet she fell in love and her kits are now warriors but a new Poppy has been born in the clan.

CinderClan cats are strong willed, fast, light on their paws, and great climbers and extremely good swimmers.

Prey food are mice, voles, fish, the occasional small shark, birds, iguanas, but never the colorful birds as they are thought to be island gods.

Only leaders, medicine cats and prophecy cats can enter the moon glades.

Kowaii island is the biggest island. The queens stay on Mooki island, the three tiny ones, with the fathers of the kits. The flower island by itself is the moonglade
