Mist laid down beside him, and soon fell asleep.

Moon snored and slept.

Rose slowly awoke the next morning, she was awake, but didn't move, still thinking things over and over in her head.

[agh, i'll be back at about 3:00]

Mist awoke, and rolled over, but being careful not to roll on top of Moon.

Rain smiled "I'm Rain.Nice to meet you. Where are your parents or Family?"

Dustin skidded to a halt as he saw the castle, "I forgot about how huge that thing is!" He looked around for his family, seeing his mother Whisper, he ran over. "Hey! I'm back!"

Whisper looked up, "Oh hi. Blitz has been looking for you." She pointed with her nose towards the coyote sitting under a tree.

"Umm, ok......" Dustin was disappointed that his own mother didn't care if he came back. He walked slowly over to Blitz, "Guten tag Vati!"

Blitz got up and wagged his tail, "Im so glad your back!" He hugged his son with one of his forepaws.

Adolfina, Wilmet and Imelda galloped over to their brother. "Dustin! Your back!" They said in unison and crowded around him.

"Haha yeah, dad why didn't Whisper welcome me back?" Dustin's tail stopped wagging.

"Whisper's always been that way, she doesn't want to show any weakness. But secretly she was crying I'm sure of it." Blitz gave Dustin a reassuring smile.

Etch watched the happy family reunion, and couldn't help but feel envy crawling under her pelt. She sighed, then sat down in the sun, her purple stripes glinting in the sunlight. Her ears drooped and she almost wished Jinx was here.

Jinx happened to be in the garden, and when she spotted Etch, her heart skipped a beat. She beamed and rushed over, "Etch." she whispered and nuzzled her adopted daughter.
