He’s safe and back where he belongs.” Smokepaw said, her tone was friendlier at the thought that Cloudkit hadn’t gotten hurt, but she kept her guard up still uneasy about the loner. Surely we can let him off with a warning. I mean he did bring Cloudkit back in one piece Smokepaw thought. Lightningstar wouldn’t like that a loner had snuck in. Smokepaw looked outside the nursery to see if the leader was nearby.

The scared male feline made a small sound but nodded his head. " I made an old fox den my home just outside your scent markers l..." He trailed off thinking about the collar around his neck and what it once meant.

"I'm sorry I just wanted to explore." The young kit started tearing up and suddenly he was crying out for his mama. " I'm sorry I want mama I'm scared and hungry." His nerves seemed to finally catch up with him.
