J a g u a r s t a r trotted back towards Pythontail. "Ready to go?" He asked the tom as he approached. "Whitetail and Spottedstorm are coming with us, too...though something seems to have gotten into both of their pelts." He flicked his tail towards the pair, who were still talking. Jaguarstar wasn't one to eavesdrop, but he assumed that at this point, every cat in camp would have noticed the tension between us. "Perhaps we should find two more warriors, so that when we get into the jungle we can split into pairs of three, separate those two for a bit...give them time to cool off."

C a n o p y p a w bounced on her paws slightly once Sunleaf had agreed, itching to leave camp. She moved closer to Lochpaw and Peacockpaw. "I wonder what we'll get up to," she mewed, excitement in her voice. "I feel like I've been standing around in camp for moons now!"
guys, we're going to pretend that sunleaf said yes. just pretend he's part of this. inactivity notices have been sent out, so hopefully we can clear everything up soon lol.

" W e l l come on, then!" Toucanpaw purred, bouncing to his paws. He waved his tail for her to follow. "Leopardheart is right over there." He led the other apprentice towards his mentor. Still, his earlier irritation hadn't been forgotten. The tom's whiskers twitched unhappily as he approached her, though he decided against telling her how bothered he had been.
"Leopardheart," he mewed as the came up to her, "May Macawpaw and I train together today?"

P i r a n h a t a i l dipped her head. "I'd love that," she purred. The queen stretched out her limbs, noticing that there was a tired stiffness to them. "Don't let me sleep until moonfall," she called over her shoulder to the deputy as she began padding towards the warriors' den. "I'd sleep until my shift starts, if you let me." Turning back around, she entered the den, comforted by the familiar scents of her Clanmates, though it was empty by this point. She curled into her nest, sighing in relief to be able to finally rest. It had been a long night.

T a p i r f o o t flicked Rockrose's flank with his tail. "This was your idea," he said. "So you lead the way." The black tabby moved to the tom's side, casting a glance at the apprentices. He was glad that Lochpaw got along well with the others - but of course she did. As they trained together nearly everyday, the apprentices were all very familiar with one another. Everycat had a close bond with those they trained with. He hoped Lochpaw had built these bonds with her peers, as she would remember them well into adulthood, and would feel natural when hunting or fighting. He was proud of her - he could say with pride that her training had nearly come to a close.
